situated on Union Island, a kite-surfing paradise, is a wooden house with full 180 degrees ocean views over Mayreau island and Tobago Cays marine park. Easy indoor and outdoor living, the house offers 2 beds, 2 baths and 2 day beds.
THE SPACE
There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds all with en-suite bathrooms, and mosquito nets. Terrace is stretching full length of the house, dining, day bed, Adirondack chairs, hammock and full panoramic ocean views. In addition there are 2 day beds, one in the living room and one in the outdoor terrace.
The use of all linens and towels are included. A fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal for preparing and cooking meals.
Coffee: we have a coffee grinder and a Bodum (French Press).
There is someone on hand to help with queries and ensure you have a smooth stay to enjoy the island. Our house manager will organize transport from the airport and will be there to greet you at the house.
The price includes a maid 3 times a week. Our Housekeeper Ursula can cook for you local cuisine on request.
Walking around
From the house,
Count 20-25 minutes to reach either Clifton or Ashton villages.
During dry season (Normally Dec-May) it is a 10 minutes walk down through a trail to reach Big sands beach which is one of the finest beach on Union. Otherwise it is about 20 minutes via the road.
While the road to our house is a bit rugged, it's all part of the experience, and we believe the reward is worth it. You'll enjoy a stunning ocean view that makes the journey more than worthwhile. Our location is also close enough to the village, allowing for easy access when you want to experiment its charm and activities. This means you'll have the advantage of being away from the hustle and bustle of the village, providing a serene and peaceful environment and free from traffic noise and loud music. We hope you'll appreciate the tranquility and the beautiful surroundings that our unique location has to offer.
Travel to Union Island:
Fly to Barbados and catch a connecting flight with SVG Airways direct or a LIAT flight to St Vincent and then the ferry across.
HOUSE RULES
No smoking and no pets are allowed. You should leave the house in the condition in which you find it. Linens are changed once a week by the housekeeper which comes 2 times a week. If you need your clothes washed, ask our house keeper for assistance, the washer in the basement. Toilet papers will be provided for the first week.

Summary: We are a group of two couples who all graduated from Univ. of Guelph in 1974. We have been travelling together since the early 2000's. On this 14 day trip, we island hopped around the Grenadines. Union Island was our third stop after Canouan and Palm Islands. We will finish in Bequia. Sur un Nuage was excellent stop for us. The place was well equipped with everything that couples, or a small family would need. Even at our senior age we were able to walk down a a rather rugged path to the beach. We did take a taxi back up the hill. Patrice was super in her/her? communication. Very prompt and accurate in every instance. A five star experience! R,R,R,J.

Summary: We had a wonderful and restorative time here. The property is very much as the pictures described and the views are amazing. We were very comfortable and we requested Ursula to cook for us a few times, which she very graciously did. Sparrows was also excellent and the beach was quiet and lovely to swim in, too.Patrice was very helpful and was easy to communicate with. She provided great ideas for enjoying the stay. The only two things I would mention is that the trail to the beach is very steep and requires proper footwear for a trail. And there is another rental downstairs. It would be nice to have the option to rent the whole property. But otherwise, we would love to come back! It was a perfect getaway.

Summary: My husband and I stayed at this property for a portion of our honeymoon. While trying to get to Union Island from the States, we had some travel issues. Patrice worked with us and was able to accommodate us arriving a day early. We were greeted at the airport by the house manager. We rented a car through the house - this is a great idea. We are big hikers and thought we would be able to walk but it was much easier to get to town and the beaches. The house was so lovely and special. The views were amazing. We spent most of our time on the patio. We were able to walk down from the house to Sparrows. Great food, lovely staff and Bertrand - the house manager- is the owner. You could spend the whole day here.....plently of drinks, good food, music and lounge chairs on the beach. We found that the grocery stores in town were a little expensive but it is an island and everything needs to be transported in. We ate out as much as we cook at the home. Eating out seemed to be less expensive than cooking. Take a trip to Chatham Bay. You have to park at the top of the mountain and walk down....the BEST lobster was served on this beach! And so cheap! Make sure you stay hydrated...it's a hot walk back up. Also - you must take a boat tour with Clem! His information is at the house. He took us snorkeling with the turtles in Tobago Cays. He was so nice. Ursula came to clean the house a few times, she made the house look brand new and was so nice. This home is great for a couple or for more. The island is so beautiful. My husband and I have stayed at multiple tropical/beaches and this home had the best views.

Summary: My husband and I absolutely loved this property. The pictures cannot even properly describe this house. It has an incredible view, stocked with all necessities, and exceeded expectations! We had previously visited 2 other islands before staying at sur un nuage, and this was by far the most relaxing home away from home. We loved relaxing here in the morning, and after a day of activities. There was great communication between the owner and property manager, and the housekeeper was so nice. We do suggest a vehicle since the house is on top of a hill, and a little bit of a distance from the town, but completely worth the location! I would recommend this to anyone staying on the island!

Summary: This has to be one of my favorite vacation rentals. It was beautifully decorated, fresh flowers prepared by Ursula, lovely functional furnishings without the usual artificial flowers and cluttered decor. A large hammock on the veranda is a great amenity. The kitchen is stocked with all new equipment , baking sheets , pots and pans etc. The 2 ensuite master bedrooms had the best mattresses and linens of memory. Real linen bed covers and high count cotton sheets. Absolute perfection ! Ursula who tends to the house is also a neighbor, which was great ! I did rent the mule for the week which made exploring to every corner of this friendly island possible. Bertrand, house manager was so kind, accommodating and helpful. The day of my departure, Ursula saved the day ! I was scheduled on a flight at 5:30, causing me to miss the last ferry to Bequia. Ursula called a friend at the airport, Magic !!! All of a sudden there was a direct flight to Bequia in 2 hours ! Saved me a long day waiting around and overnighting in St. Vincent.The Owners of SUR UN NUAGE have a true gem here, the house and caretakers were fantastic ! I will happily return to this home and Union ! Oops ! Almost forgot to mention the fantastic views on all 3 sides ,wonderful breezes too !

Summary: My wife and I had the most amazing time sur un nuage... There is simply no word to describe the feeling facing the incredible bird eye panoramic view offered from every well designed room. The atmosphere created by the sound of the ocean, the wind and the birds is enchanting and will absorb you from the moment you first step in the house. So much that it was hard for us to leave it and explore this amazing island and its surroundings. Also, communication was excellent. We were welcomed at the airport by Bertrand who gave us a ride to the property. He was very nice to us and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. He also provided us with his "mule", a golf cart that let us explore the whole island on our own. Highly recommended!
