Positive: The room was very new, clean and very well appointed. Pool, spa and gym available at Hagia Sophia Hotel 30m up the street. Kind and efficient personnel, particularly Fatemeh. Very close to Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque.
Negative: Nothing worth mentioning.

Positive: The hotel is very conveniently located, with plenty of restaurants just outside the hotel doors. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated with a gorgeous marble bathroom, huge and soft bed and nice lights. I must say the room looked exactly like the pictures. Cleanliness was exceptional throughout. Special thanks to the housekeeper, Mr Suparma, who was extremely helpful in assisting me with the air conditioning issue and cleaned the room every morning to an impeccable standard. Fantastic member of the team and he absolutely deserves special mention! Breakfast was fantastic also and I was able to choose which hotel breakfast buffet service I prefer (out of 2 sister hotels). The food they serve is almost identical, but one of the hotel offers a rooftop view. I must say the whole hotel team is very kind and went above and beyond to assist me with many different queries. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and well looked after.
Negative: The information about the hotel’s amenities is somewhat misleading, as facilities like the pool, breakfast, and spa are actually located in the sister hotels across the street, not onsite. Sura Concept does not have its own receptionist, making check-in and check-out outside operating hours inconvenient, since you’ll need to call a sister hotel and wait for someone to assist you. When I checked in, the process took over 30 minutes. Additionally, the air conditioning was problematic: it didn’t work at all on my first night (bear in mind the temperature outside was 35*C) and after reporting it, it was turned on remotely on the second night, but the temperature was set up for extremely low and could not be adjusted or turned off manually. Even tho I reported the issue nobody came to assist me. On the third night, after another report, a brief power outage on the street switched it off again but I was too tired of this whole air con experience to report it yet again. Overall, the experience with the amenities and air conditioning was a bit disappointing.

Positive: Location was awesome, the place is actually very quiet considering how busy the area is. Cleaning was top notch thanks to the friendly house keeping person. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast at Sura Hagia Sophia hotel. Mohammed Ali was very professional and made our breakfasts an enjoyable ritual every morning
Negative: No space in the room for bags but we knew that before we booked so no complaints. We had minor issues with our key which was fixed in a prompt manner

Positive: The staff just makes your stay that bit wonderful! There is a number to call at front desk and they appear within minutes to your aid. Merve was honestly , such a genuine lovely support who shared insider information of best places to eat and drink and on one occasion , went out of her way to walk me to find the local Migros jet! Every day was a lovely smile and interest in what I had seen/ discovered and so on. Equally, Fatima was just wonderful as was the bald and handsome guy who first checked me in (forgotton his name- sorry!). The hotel is a local family of hotels and every guest can utilise the other 2 hotels which are located next to one another on the same street Tircarethane sokak. The street where the 3 Sura hotels are, is littered with lovely cafes and restaurants and has a really cool vibe. As a single woman, I felt very safe right across Sultanahmet and Istanbul. Breakfast can be taken in Sura Hagia Sophia but this was rather disappointing as the day I frequented it, the staff were not ready to meet and greet residents, I had to ask for utensils to be provided for the items. This said, breakfast at Sura Design was just the best! It was a terrace styled venue with magnificent views of the Blue Mosque and the other side where Galata tower is. Sizdev ( incorrect spelling I`m sorry) , the Kurdish head waiter was again, such a lovely, warm and genuine soul whose customer service skills were on point! He even made my omelette for me in the absence of the kitchen staff! The hotel chain is a very stylish innovative brand which makes a pleasant change to the western styled brands we all know of. The staff mentioned are absolute professionals and made my stay that much more wonderful. A great training programme offered by the chain! The rooms are small but very stylish with every mod con such as control panels for curtains and lights. Highly recommended especially if you want to explore Sultanahmet. Thank you to Sura Concept for my memorable stay!
