Positive: Fantastic location within a 2 minute walk to Newport Beach. Lovely and spacious ground floor 2 bedrooms with large lounge dining room and lovely kitchen. Nice that there was shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom and although you paid $1 to do a load of laundry and use the dryer they had laundry tablets free to use which was nice. Also dishwasher tablets were provided. 5min walk to a complex that had some great food options and a nice cafe for coffee in the morning. Very relaxed vibe to the area which we loved. It took about 30min to walk into the heart of Newport Beach but we liked the walk. Big spacious, lockable garage which you share with the apartment upstairs.
Negative: Could hear noise from guests upstairs who had kids running up and down. Would stay again but would stay upstairs.

Positive: Super close to the BEACH! Very quiet. Garage which really helped with parking. Washing machine and dryer cost $2 per load in total. There was enough space. loved the dining room table- great place to eat dinner together and play games!! loved the open concept!
Negative: The dishwasher and oven did not work well. The oven took a long time to heat up and cook. The dishwasher did not clean dishes well, which was an issue for a whole family not to have clean dishes. The dishwasher was not stabilized, not even attached to anything. Toilet moved, faucets were loose. You had everything you needed, but it was not quality.

Negative: Cleaner blankets.there was kind of a gross stain on one of the blankets but other than that it was great. We also would have appreciated a couple hours early check in. And maybe an hour check out but that’s pretty minor. We really enjoyed the place.

Positive: LOVED that the house was literally a block from a WONDERFUL beach. In addition, it was close to Huntington Beach and also the pier in Newport. The house was super cute and had a nice layout. There was a cute patio out front with chairs to enjoy. Overall it was a nice neighborhood and everyone was respectful of quiet hours which I was grateful for considering you literally have about 5 feet between each house. We didn't use the grill but nice to know it was available. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and glasses available for use. There was plenty of other miscellaneous kitchenware as well - we just didn't see a bottle opener or a pizza cuter - 2 things we needed.
Negative: There wasn't anything I "didn't like" but do want to point out a few things that could have been "better" It would have been nice if the weeds on the patio area were taken care of. It would have been nice if there was a box of kleenex in the house. I would have loved to of known that there was paper towel under the sink as we went out and bought some because we didn't see any and no napkins. We also purchased more toilet paper (3 rolls for 5 people for 5.5 days just wasn't enough). I also would have loved it if the property listed that they had beach towels available (we didn't know this and brought our own). Being so close to the beach it would have been nice to have beach chairs and boogie boards available - what was in the garage we weren't certain we could use plus it was very old and unappealing - even information on a place to rent this stuff would be helpful. We also had to downsize our vehicle because the garage is so small and the door would not have shut - this too would have been nice to know in the communication of some sort. There is no air conditioning and very little airflow in the house. The carpet in the bedrooms is rather gross when you first walk in. I also wish there had been some sort of book that listed close-by attractions - favorite places to eat - fun places to shop etc. Whether that be from the owners or a book that all guests can input information. In the checkout information it asked us to wash the sheets if we were able (I didn't know this and so, therefore, didn't have any laundry detergent to do so - plus I'm on vacation- I don't want to do this kind of laundry??)
Summary: I would absolutely recommend this beach house and could see myself staying here again in the future.
