Imagine being nestled in a key west style unit which is fully furnished turn key just a few minutes walk to pristine Siesta key beach and the hopping Siesta key village. The Surf Shack has its own unique entrance through the driveway and privacy fence. The cottage has just been updated with a new kitchen, granite counter tops, new microwave, vanity, painted inside and out, and a gas grill. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy yourself. Full kitchen, bath with fiberglass shower, outside hot and cold shower when you come back from the beach There is a mini split air conditioner, stacked washer/dryer, just added HULU and ROKU TV and 500/500 wireless internet. You can use your own Netflix or Amazon prime to stream everything. NEW TO SIESTA KEY ARE FREE TROLLYS THAT RUN FROM THE VILLAGE TO THE SOUTH END OF THE KEY.
Enjoy my private dock to fish, crab, or launch a kayak if you like. At sunset, stroll up to the beach to watch the amazing sunsets every night. Go enjoy oysters and a beer at Siesta Key Oyster Bar. My favorite is the clam chowder at Captain Curt's near the south bridge... it is awesome. There are lots of great restaurants and shops all over the village. They are all just a short walk or quick ride by bike. There is outdoor patio furniture and a gas grill all under a huge oak tree. This is island living at its best. Note. Summary: Location in a quiet neighborhood is close to all you need for a fun, relaxing time on Siesta Key. Bed is comfortable, kitchen and bathroom are adequate and it has a washer and dryer. Park your car and walk or take the trolley or Frog Hop to anywhere on the Key.

Summary: Such a sweet little place to stay. The pictures don’t do it justice! My parents stayed here while my husband and kids stayed in the house and it was PERFECTION. We loved having our own space while getting to spend vacation together. The efficiency was so impressive

We had a most amazing 18 day stay and will return. This property would be a great rental year round for a couple looking for a getaway. It perfectly met our needs in every way. Summary: We had a wonderful time at the Surf Shack! We spend the majority of our time outdoors and really enjoyed the outside space which has both shaded and sunny spots to relax in Florida’s beautiful weather! My wife really enjoyed sitting at the dock on the canal in the morning and late afternoons. The beach and dining at the Village restaurant/bars is an easy walk. Our host Jim was very responsive! He made sure our stay was enjoyable! We will be staying at the Surf Shack again!

Summary: We were extremely happy with our stay at the Surf Shack and have zero complaints. The only thing that we didn't like was leaving. We already booked for next year! The Surf Shack had everything that we needed plus more. The wash machine/dryer and gas grill were an added bonus! The decor was really cute. The location was awesome-a short walk to the Village and beach. We arrived two days late because of weather in Michigan and Jim offered to extend our stay for two extra days at no charge! Jim is an amazing host! He responds to texts immediately and went above and beyond as a host. We HIGHLY recommend the Surf Shack!

Summary: We enjoyed our week at the Surf Shack. It met all of our needs perfectly and the price was great for being right on Siesta Key. This property is 2000 steps from the beach access and 1200 steps from the attractions in the Village according to my Fitbit. We didn't mind the walk but anyone staying here should be aware of this. The beach cart, nice beach chairs, and cooler provided by the owner made heading to the beach a much easier proposition. The bed was comfy and we were grateful for the ice maker in the fridge. We have not usually had ice available to us for filling the cooler, so we did like that a lot. We had numerous flight delays and didn't arrive until the sun was just about coming up, so we appreciated the lights and the AC being left on for our very late arrival.
