Positive: Suzi's is really pleasant and friendly homestay, with amazing people.The owner speaks great English and all the stuff are very helpful, whatever you need.Organizing surfing boat, getting around the island. Suzi makes sure the place is incredibly clean and linen and towels smell so good 👍🏻.She offers a laundry service,too. Food was very tasty.We rented a scooter on the spot for a great price.Little shops are nearby even by foot. You have a coffee and tea and drinking water all day long and fridge with drinks and beers for fair prices.

Positive: We had an amazing 8 nights at Suzi's. From the arrival, Fian and his wife Susi welcomed us and made us feel at home. They picked us up from the ferry (and dropped us off at the end) which was kind. They helped us plan our daily surf trips with their Captain, who took us out on the small boat to different breaks. Susi cooked nice homemade food that generally had large portions and would cook something that you wanted. The free breakfast always had nice fruit, and you could order pancakes or eggs to go with it. The room was very clean and the AC worked very well, so we kept our room cool. We never noticed many bugs in the room. Some more art on the walls (soon to come) will help spruce up the rooms.
Negative: Not too much to say here... My girlfriend - who didn't surf much - felt a little bit isolated in this location, as it's about 10-15 minutes out of the main town and more public beaches. We rented a scooter, from Suzi's, though, and that worked well! Make sure you're away of the prices for lunch and dinner beforehand, as it wasn't really mentioned to us. They're fair prices, but just make sure to discuss upon arrival.

Positive: Our stay at Suzi Beach House was incredible! Fian is hands down the best surf guide in the area, ensuring we hit all the top surf breaks with ease, including a quick 5-minute ride to Telescopes, one of the best left-handers in the Mentawais. The beach house itself is extremely comfortable and well-equipped, with the option of having delicious lunch and dinner cooked right on the property. Multiple boats are available to take you to the best surf spots around, making this surf experience exceptional. Highly recommend this place, and we are definitely coming back! Don’t waste your money staying at one of the nearby overpriced, overcrowded surf camps when you can stay newly built Suzi Beach House.

Positive: We already stayed here twice and If you looking for clean, nice affordable Mentawai accommodation with very helpful staff, this is best place we could find around. So look no further! Fian and his family are amazing hosts! The beds are comfortable, linen very clean and smell nice (not too much of synthetic detergent and no damp smell, which is very common problems in many local guest houses). Food Suzy cook is very good also and you can request something to your liking as well! Just bring snacks if you coming for longer time and haven’t traveled in far away destinations of Indonesia as island does not have western food stores.
Summary: Best we could find around! Look no further
