Positive: Property up a very bumpy lane but very tranquil and quiet. Plenty of parking. Own private garden and patio, with bar BQ. Interior has everything you could need for a long or short stay.

Positive: This was our second time of staying here, I think that probably says volumes in itself, if you want piece and quiet, and a lovely place to stay, this will be for you, the hosts are always very friendly and helpful, wild life is great, loads of parking, but if you are goin to use a car, firstly must say, you WILL need one, but secondly the track is very off road, so don't bring you Ferrari!!! Not that you need a 4x4, but a vehicle that has good ground height. Very easy to get to various shops and scenic views.
Negative: The long off road track to the property, which with a very little work could be improved by the various users and businesses of it
Summary: Absolute lovely well worth the money!

Positive: The location was great however the off road track is not suitable for low suspension cars, the people who own the farm where the cottage is place were wonderful, and we would happily book again, we have rented several cottages in Cornwall and this was by far the best overall
Negative: Probably the worst part would be the quarter of a mile off road track to get to the cottage, if have a low sprung sports car or lowered suspension, best off renting a 4x4!
Summary: Great cottage to get away from everything, and the host are some of the warmest people we have met

Positive: The property is giant, well-equipped, private and peaceful. The owners in the adjacent house were more than happy to provide us anything we needed, although they left us wanting very little. We had a very comfortable stay.
Negative: This is not their fault, but the place is hidden at the end of some very narrow, one-lane roads. Honestly, that can probably be chalked up as part of the charm, but driving in at night in the rain can require some care.
Summary: We stayed four nights and would have happily stayed longer if we had the time.

Positive: Swallow’s nest was absolutely perfect for us. We needed somewhere local to stay whilst we had work done on our house. couldn’t fault it. 🤩
Negative: Just the driveway up to the cottage. Not great if you have a low car!! Very lumpy bumpy!! 😬
