Travel West Cliff in one direction for less than a mile to arrive at one of the most famous surf spots in the world, Steamer Lane, right at Lighthouse Point and Surfing Museum. From there the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Main Beach and Municipal Wharf are a ten-minute walk (see our map on this page). Heading in the opposite direction on West Cliff brings you to Natural Bridges State Park and Beach. Bring a light jacket, sweatshirt for mornings and evenings in summer! Many guests return from their vacation with a Santa Cruz sweatshirt (our local uniform!).
