Summary: The farmhouse was clean and comfortable. The hosts were truly excellent in that they were communicative and welcoming. They did Not make a long cleaning list for us to complete before we left in addition to charging us a cleaning fee. Kathryn was an available communicator. There was a strong colonial vibe which was very charming. There were plenty of places to sit and eat as well as games and puzzles, a keyboard, and a stationery bike. It is close to the village Skippack with has plenty of shopping and restaurants. We very much enjoyed the space. It is close to the turnpike. We would like to stay there again.

Summary: Overall, I was happy with our experience. The place was clean which truthfully is the most important thing in my book. In addition, the owners were very responsive and even gave us a run down on places to visit. For a very old farmhouse, it was comfortable!! :) I’d recommend this to anyone looking for to experience a getaway in a piece of history in a quiet and quaint location. To provide some feedback, it would have been more ideal to have extra toilet paper on hand from the beginning since we were going to be there 10 days (rather than having to request it). In addition, it would have been nice to have the dish soap and hand soaps replenished (or at least extras for us to find and replace). I’m sure had I asked they would have brought extras, but we were busy running back and forth for our trip and I just didn’t have a lot of time to request those after I already requested other items. We did run out of hand soap in the bathrooms and just used a bar of soap (which did the job, just nicer to have hand soap and the bottles were there - just not enough to last the trip). Also, I’d recommend checking the ant traps before you have guests. I TOTALLY understand there’s only so much you can do, but the existing ones needed replaced. The new ones that were brought definitely seemed to do the trick!! Thank you!

Summary: This is the second time we stayed at this 200 yr old farm house. Location is secluded which I like. Everything worked. Plenty of hot water etc. Will stay there again.

Summary: My friends and I stayed at the farm as a landing spot after touring Chanticleer Gardens.. The farm house was beautiful, clean and simply decorated. The host was very responsive and we had a relaxing stay, just as we wanted.

Summary: We were in to visit family and the house was big enough to have guests over for dinner. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal and large enough for three cooks. The hosts had some food there for us which was very kind. This included apples, pumpkin bread, creamer for our coffee, coffee, and cider. The home is very old and has great character. The grounds are pretty and have lots of wildlife including deer. We plan on being back!!

Summary: Just like the headline says, this is a 200 plus year old charming farmhouse off the beaten path, yet still close to Skippack Village and the surrounding towns. House has been updated with new paint etc. and was very clean and comfortable. It's bigger than the pictures make it seem. With deer and a red fox visiting every day, will definitely stay here again.
