Summary: Sweet Water lodge was the perfect place to stay for our time in North Carolina. Jason was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. I would recommend staying here!

Summary: I stay at VRBO or BnB all the time. I take notes the whole time. Obviously, none are perfect but this one is close to my wants and expectations to include a beautiful view in the morning. 1. Usually when you stay far out, the roads can be a challenge. This is paved to the front door. 2. Often pet friendly houses smell like pet friendly. That was not the case. Every corner was clean and clean smelling. My wife brings our own sheets and pillows, but we had no reservations about using the ones here. 3. Lots of TVs and I checked the wifi on fast.com. It was over 500 mbs. The gas fireplace quickly heated the house. All the appliances were Samsung and fully functional. 4. A couple minor questions to manager were answered in a timely manner. 5. Bottom Line: We would definitely want to go back if we are in the area again.

Summary: The property was clean, had 3 beds (2 king & 1 queen) in 3 separate floors - each with a clean bathroom nearby, kitchen amenities (dishes, utensils, dishwasher/fridge/microwave/coffee maker), a gas fireplace and a beautiful view. Check-in was after 4 pm and check-out was by 11 am. Host was very nice and responsive to any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay here and would gladly return in the future.

Summary: The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Jason, the host was very responsive and helpful as I planned this last minute trip. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Summary: The house was nice. If I was staying longer I would have liked to have had the windows, ceiling fans and both patio areas cleaned as we couldn’t enjoy the view through windows as they were pretty dirty as well as outdoor space but we weren’t at house to much it wasn’t a huge issue. Ceiling fans were nasty. Also not sure when checkout time was changed from 11:00 am to 10:00 am also not a huge issue.

Summary: We were looking for a last minute trip to the mountains, we found this lovely cabin and had a great time! Plenty of room for our family… Really enjoyed our coffee on the porch. Get your groceries in town before you head up the Mountain, it’s a good bit out of town. We enjoyed walking down the mountain to the waterfall and stream at the community area. And the Kerr lake lake we rented a pontoon boat and did some tubing, the kids favorite day! Nice to get away from it all ontop of the mountain.

Summary: The cabin was very clean but is definitely not handicap friendly. But it’s not the owners fault. We had paid for another cabin that was one level and a flat yard along with a hot tub and rushing stream. Three days before our trip we get an email stating that the cabin was unavailable and this cabin was the only other rental open. We were going to a family wedding and couldn’t change our reservations. My sister and I both have walkers and this cabin has no railings on the steps. It took 2 people to get us up and down the steps. The flood lights didn’t work and the driveway is very narrow. The home also needs to be sprayed for insects.

Summary: The cabin was great for our weekend get away. It had everything we needed and was super comfortable. Jason was easy to contact and answered all of my questions. I would definitely stay there again.

Summary: I needed a short notice place to stay over the weekend with my family. We had a great visit and it met all of our needs. The home is beautiful and the sunrise views were incredible. The property manager was great from beginning to end. I highly recommend this property for stays of all lengths in the area. BTW, do yourself a favor and visit Dixie Doughnuts while you are there--it is a must!
