Positive: An absolute paradise! The hosts welcomed us warmly and prepared an incredible breakfast, thoughtfully including excellent vegan options that we had requested in advance. They offered the best advice for exploring the surrounding area and were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. Truly a little gem – une petite perle! Highly recommended.

Positive: Amazing hospitality, the best hosts, delicious breakfast (I was stuffed and happy!) and a stunning property with a very very cosy bed to get a perfect sleep. What more could you need? I travelled to Clare in unfortunate circumstances; a family bereavement. And I'll be forever grateful for how kindly and compassionately I was treated at Sycamore Lodge because it made a sad event so much easier for me. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Positive: The on site owners are the most genuine, gracious, compassionate and fun couple! They were very attentive to all of our needs. The accommodations more than exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, with comfortable bedding and updated baths. The ambiance was perfect, with well appointed decor and every detail was thought out to give a modern warmth to the lodge. The breakfast menu which was an impressive selection of on the go selections as well as the most delicious made to order meals was a big highlight!

Positive: Loved our stay at Sycamore Lodge. Simply put, Garry and Isabelle were the absolute best hosts we’ve ever had. They were incredibly accommodating after having some trouble with travel and needing to move back the booking by a day on short notice. Everything about Sycamore Lodge was brilliant. The room was so comfortable, The food that Garry and Isabelle cooked each morning, the coffee was divine, being welcomed with a glass of wine, and arriving down to breakfast to our favourite music being played in the room. Garry and Isabelle honestly leave absolutely no stone unturned in making sure you have the best possible experience staying at Sycamore Lodge. Whatever you think above and beyond looks like, Garry and Isabelle go above and beyond that. Otis is also simply hands down the all time undisputed best boy in the world. If you are a dog lover you will L O V E staying at Sycamore Lodge. We will definitely be returning soon and often in the future!

Positive: John the host was a very friendly and very accommodating host. The sycamore lodge is about 4 miles outside of Kilkee town but John would kindly offer his transportation services for all guests. Would definitely stay there again. Lovely and peaceful and relaxing.
