Positive: The location was excellent — within walking distance to the main street and the pier. The hotel itself was beautiful! The building has a charming historic feel, but the interior is newly renovated with no musty smell. Our room was spacious and perfect, and the bedding was very comfortable. We paid extra for an additional single bed. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot fried eggs available, and the bacon was absolutely delicious. The hotel’s garden was also stunning.
Negative: There was no laundry room, and the paid laundry service was expensive. For long-distance travelers, a self-service laundry would be a very thoughtful feature. I strongly recommend adding a guest laundry facility.
Summary: A perfect stay — and it would be even better with a laundry room.

Positive: We have been coming to PEI for six or seven years and stay two months in the summer. I have wanted to stay at this property for a long time simply because their patio garden is so beautiful. Finally, we had the opportunity to stay and we loved it. It’s comfortable, has a great location to walk everywhere in Charlottetown and the staff just aim to please. The included breakfast is incredibly good and that breakfast staff really works to keep everything clean and tidy and to keep everyone happy.

Positive: For the cost, the room was well-appointed and spacious. The desk staff were exceptional: informative, helpful, and accommodating. Liked that it still provided stationery (letterhead and postcrads) for guests.
