Positive: Friendly owners, quiet location, but also close to Brussels, Ghent etc. Lots of kitchen equipment, cookware. The bathroom is also well equipped and nice. Blackout roller blinds were great, insect nets too. We also had a very good price for this place.
Negative: When you unpack things, you see how little space there is. Upstairs we didn't find any kind of blanket, which could be useful for people sleeping on the couch. Chairs in the kitchen were a bit uncomfortable for us. Be careful about the wooden floor in the bathroom, it will easily collapse under you, also once we pulled the black blinds up, we couldn't get them back down.

Positive: It's like a whole house but in miniature. The great thing is that this is not in someone's backyard like all the silly airbnb's - it's more of a separate property with its own entrance and parking. It has all you need, is cozy and heating works reasonably well. The upstairs "living room" with comfy sofa is surprisingly usable. Perhaps if you were picky, a hotel-quality mattress would put it over the top.
Negative: Really no complaints. For some it may be too far out in the sticks, but for us with our own transport this wasn't a problem - on the contrary we enjoyed the quiet.
Summary: Like living in your own house, but in miniature!
