Nestled atop a hill on 60 pastoral acres in Wildwood, Georgia, this charmingly rustic 1-bedroom cabin makes for an ideal family basecamp for local activities or a romantic couples getaway. The cabin is newly constructed from 200-year old barn timbers and surrounded by shady forests and open pastures. The rest of the world may feel far away, yet Tadpole is only minutes from downtown Chattanooga, Cloudland Canyon State Park and most other area attractions. A true hidden gem.
The Space
Creek Road Farm is a 60-acre farm that’s been family-owned for almost 50 years. Aside from the cabin, there is main residence on top of the hill, a barn, work shed, garden and greenhouse. The central barn is flanked by two pastures with two more pastures on the back side of the hill bordered by Lookout Creek. Lookout Mountain looms above from the east.
Guest access
Guests are free to roam the property at their leisure. Walk down to Lookout Creek and drop a line in the water for bass and bream. Hike around the property along old farm roads and logging trails. Stop at the barn and feed the chickens. Or visit with the farm animals: Tater, the pig; Lily and Muffin, the goats; Buddy, the farm dog; and Mango, the shy, orange tabby cat.
The owners live on the property, with Tadpole Cabin itself located in its own secluded nook, out of view of the owner's residence.
Lastly, pets are more than welcome at Tadpole for a one-time $50 fee that covers all your pets.

Summary: was a bit afraid of the fact that the day got away from us and it was dark when we arrived....as we approached, the barn was lit up in festive welcome, and it was easy to find the cabin. so charming. my only regret is i couldn't stay longer....next time!!!

Summary: It was so nice staying here. So peaceful and relaxing and still only 15 minutes away from the city. We felt like we were in the middle of no where. The size was perfect and there are board games, outdoor games, a firepit, grill, you name it.

Summary: Cozy and comfy adorable cabin nestled in the woods. Perfect spot for a getaway weekend for us. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Owner has provided everything you'd need for a stay. Very easy to work with as well. Would definitely return.

Summary: Our time at the cottage was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and cozy and looked just like it was in the picture. The property manager's instructions were on point for the directions. The instructions on how everything in the cabin operates were provided. We love the fire pit, the Lookout Creek trail, the picnic area, and the farm animals. The property gives you that private intimate feel. We enjoyed it so much that we want to return for a longer stay.
