Summary: Excellent hotel in the heart of chennai, close to Spencers Plaza, EA avenue mall. Beach is 10 mins. Staff is excellent and very helpful. Good for Families and Business travelers. Excellent food options on GP road and Anna Salai.

Summary: In the heart of Mount Road. Very close to the large (however now a bit old) mall. Walkable to Geetham restaurant and other restaurants at the mall if you get tired of the restaurants at the hotel.

Summary: We have booked a family stay for 4 nights at this property, we are used to Taj properties and they are always quite splendid and phenomenal and go about and beyond, however Taj Clubhouse, completely disappointed us, there were open electrical switchboards, even the hotel lobby there were stains on the pillars, the coffee ares in the rooms the lightning wires were all out in the open, I dont know when did this happened but never though Taj group properties will go down to this low standards, I sincerely hope someone in the higher up will read this review and do a strict quality inspection at the property. Staff was good and attentive, breakfast was quite impressive...

Summary: Although staff was amazing, the food/tea/coffee weren't even on par with what you can get at local restaurant. For five star I would expect better food. The rooms are also quite old fashioned and the washroom has fake peel on stickers on the class to hide the outside which they could have done better interiors for. Not 5 star quality.
