Positive: Everything about this property was near perfection, but everything about it is almost beside the point -great property, gorgeous views, wonderful terrace, great room, over the top breakfast, and more - because when we book a B&B, what moves it from great to pefection are the hosts. Chiara and Davide could not be more welcoming, warm and loving and that's what made this visit to Lipari so special. a poignant example is what happened when our Ferry back to mainland Calabria was cancelled due to terribl winds/seas - both C and D convened a summit meeting and used their best local knowledge and contacts to weave together a potentially crazy combination of alternates Ferries, beses, taxki and trains to get us home in record time. Only does acouple go to that effort if they truly have their clients best interests at heart and for that reasons we will surely return to TaliaKa and recommend them as the perfect host to welecome future travelers on their visits to Lipari, without exception. Go feel their warmth and enjoy their special island.

Negative: Everything was fine for us, as we are used to climbing stairs and walking up serious grades in our own little town in Calabria. However, while a close walk into town, the steep driveway can be a problem for some folks, even though the Owners have done everything they can to make it more doable. Just a caution for those who may need flatter terrain.

Positive: TaliaKa B&B: The Best Kept Secret on Lapari!! We have traveled Europe and Italy, and one of our favorite experiences was our stay with Chiara and David at the TaliaKa B&B. Their beautiful B&B is perched on a hilltop overlooking Lipari and the sea. The view from our clean and comfortable room was stunning, and relaxing on the patio created an incredibly peaceful feeling while still feeling connected to the homes, people, and atmosphere of Lipari Island. The location is also ideal — just a short and easy walk down to the waterfront, restaurants, and shops. Many B&Bs offer great views, but what truly sets TaliaKa apart is the warmth, communication, service, and genuine enthusiasm that Chiara and David bring to hosting their guests. They went out of their way to meet us at the ferry and personally drive us to the property. Throughout our stay, they shared thoughtful recommendations for places to visit around the island, scenic viewpoints, and local experiences that made our trip even more memorable. Breakfast each morning was a highlight of the day, featuring a variety of fresh and delicious items, including some of Chiara’s homemade baked goods that were delicious. We would highly recommend TaliaKa to anyone looking for the perfect balance of comfort, beauty, tranquility, and local insight to make the most of a Lipari. -Marc and Suzanne

Positive: This B&B is a gem. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Hosts are friendly, very welcoming and helpful with information on where to go. It is uphill from the port but they pick you up and drop you back with your luggage. Accommodation is up on a hill with beautiful views and very quiet. Breakfast was yummy too. Positive: Chiara and David are wonderful hosts and their B&B is exceptional. The views from the terrace and room was wonderful and they have renovated their estate to be the best of comfort in the room, and the property overall. They have a wonderful breakfast ready each morning for their guests. Their pick up and drop off shuttle service from the port is great as well. Chiara and David are lovely people and they make their guests feel at home, in a beautiful and peaceful place. We would definitely return to TaliaKà B&B.
