Positive: The property was up a quiet driveway, overlooking countryside and distant mountains from the patio area, where the summer house stands. The building itself provided beautiful accommodation, with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable and the lounge, kitchen and bathrooms were all bright and well appointed. I would recommend Tan Y Coed to anyone wanting a quiet location, which is a short distance from several beaches and seaside towns. We also loved the photos, showing the renovation of Tan Y Coed. Wow! What a transformation!
Negative: Upon arrival, we noticed crumbs on the kitchen floor and several, easily reached, cobwebs on some of the walls. Obviously, cobwebs can get anywhere but they were very noticeable so we were surprised they had been missed. Thankfully, after removing them and vacuuming, everything else seemed perfect.
Summary: A lovely, peaceful getaway.

Positive: Spacious and yet cosy. Good outside space with lovely views
Negative: Bathroom shower doesn’t work as a proper shower as it sprays everywhere. It has to be held in the hand and therefore unsatisfying shower especially after a day of walking.

Negative: Not being able to get in touch with the owner or someone; cleanliness was a bit poorly; not even a washing machine pod, even if the property has a washing machine. Also, the temperature was set to 16 degrees and 19 degrees. No matter how many times I ve received set it to a higher temperature it kept coming down to 16/19 degrees. One morning, my 5 years old asked me to give him his outdoor coat as he was shivering.
Summary: Amazing, quite area; lively chimney, most comfortable beds.

Positive: The property was located in a lovely location, with good access to local attractions and Snowdon. The kitchen was very well equipped, with everything you could need for your stay. The finishing was very classy and modern, with a lot of functionality; and ultimately a very cosy cottage.
Negative: Not a dislike, but the property could benefit from a small enclosed area at the front of the building and potentially a tumble drier in the lovely large utility room.
Summary: A very modern and well presented property, in a beautiful location.

Positive: Very clean, modern and spacious new cottage Superbly equipped with loads of crockery, cooking utensils etc. Fabulous storage in all bedrooms and kitchen, and very comfortable beds Very lovely quiet rural location and yet well located to explore North Wales and Snowdonia National park Many lovely walks available within a 20 min drive, and Caernarfon castle and the nearby beach are even closer at 10-15 mins
Negative: Almost nothing to not like - the property was a bit difficult to locate (despite the clear instructions) as there is no name at the start of the driveway (look for the lane which also has a sign for the house Awelon)
Summary: Very comfortable, modern, well-equipped spacious cottage in a lovely quiet location
