Our Santa Maria home on our private Seasalt Bay estate is your perfect luxury getaway. Our large home, featuring two separate kitchens, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and several open spaces, has 4 beds and a sofa bed so can easily accommodate 8 persons. One interesting highlight is that the home includes an adjoined living quarter equipped with its own kitchen, bedroom, living room and office desk area, along with its own entrance and patio, and is only separated by a doorway to the rest of the home, perfect for a large family where one group would like their private living area. When you rent our home, you are renting the large home which includes the separate living quarters. It's like having two separate dwellings in one large home if you wish.

Welcome to our piece of Caribbean paradise: Long Island.
Christopher Columbus discovered this island back in 1492, and the natural beauty has remained essentially untouched since that time. It’s not a place where you’ll find big resorts, shopping malls, or tourist traps. Instead, the island is home to remote beaches, wild greenery, and just one main road that runs from north to south.
Nearly every ocean-centric activity is here, including kayaking, snorkeling, kitesurfing, and fishing. Watersports rentals and tours can be booked through local tour companies. Live it up with action-packed adventures or just kick back in the sand. The closest beach is right outside your front door, but you could easily visit a new beach on each day of your vacation if you’re so inclined.
While Long Island’s beaches are certainly a thing of beauty, they’re not the only highlight. The lush tropical forests are great for birdwatching and the main road is the perfect place for a scenic drive. Driving across the island also allows for sightseeing at the little villages that pop up every couple of miles, which have historic churches, charming restaurants, and colonial architecture.
It’s not necessary to travel far to indulge in tasty Bahamian cuisine, though. We recommend that you try Eagles Nesting Restaurant & Lodge, Pratt’s Native Restaurant and Bar or Chez Pierre for a taste of France in the caribbean.
Our secluded location means you can enjoy pure paradise, and it’s surprisingly easy to get here. We recommend flying into Nassau (Lynden Pindling International Airport), then taking a local flight to Long Island.
Many international airlines provide flights to Nassau. Long Island has two airports: Stella Maris Airport, which is a 20-minute drive from Long Island Pinta, and Deadmans Cay Airport, which is about 1 hour away. Bahamas Air and Southern Air Charters both fly to Long Island.
In addition to commercial flights, some guests choose to take a private charter flight or arrive on their own plane. Private charter options include Stella Maris Air Service and Island Wing Charters. Once you have booked your airfare, we are happy to arrange transfer service to our property.
As its name implies, Long Island is indeed quite large, stretching over 100km from end to end. It takes almost two hours to drive from north to south! To fully explore the island, driving is best. The largest town on the island is Clarence Town, which is about 90 minutes away by car.
We can assist with car rental reservations, and you can park for free at the apartment. However, no car is necessary to go to the beach! Simply walk from your front door straight into the sand.
Name of Estate: Seasalt Bay
This Home: Santa Maria large private rental home with two sections (includes an area of the home that can be exclusive to a part of your group if you wish). Almost like having two homes in one.
Note: There is also a separate Cottage on the property but that is a completely different building, not attached to this house in any way and is its own private home.
2nd Private Cottage: Long Island Pinta (exists on the estate but is a completely different rental property).

- We love feedback. Let us know how we can make your stay better.
- Check-In time (after 3:30 pm) and Checkout time (by 10 am) are firm. Our cleaning agent will arrive promptly at 10am to prepare for our next guest.
- Parties, events, and gatherings are not permitted in any of our units.
- Only registered guests are allowed to visit or use property facilities.
- NO SMOKING inside the unit - Heavy fines for evidence of smoking.
- No pets allowed.
- Park only in your designated spot. You can find details in the Welcome Guide.
- Quiet time after 10 pm - Please be considerate of our neighbors and minimize loud noises.
- Help us conserve energy and turn off ACs and lights when leaving for extended periods.
