Summary: Not very soundproof. There were loud neighbors out on the porch for several hours, so be aware. The view of the lake was gorgeous!

Summary: The service was excellent. The caretaker's treated us like family and were friendly and helpful. This place is quirky, unpretentious and relaxing, perfect for families - almost like staying at a an uncle's place on the lake. We were even shown where to get extra linens and towels if we needed them. Chairs outside the rooms were perfect to take in the lake or just sit and visit. There were paddle boats, picnic areas and BBQ's for cookouts - just remember to bring your own groceries. We LOVED it's remote location - away from the big hotels, and the noise of the interstate. Summary: Great location and very cute lodge. Tight in front of a big beach. The kids had lots of fun playing on the beach and kayaking

Summary: Generally, it was a good stay; but it would've been a lot better if we brought a boat. There are a couple of paddle boats, (but only one that works well), and kayak and some other standup floatation devices. The staff was friendly, and gave us a very good deal on their suite. You must remember to bring your own food and refreshments, shampoo and conditioner. A really nice stay though. We had fun despite the lousy weather.
