Positive: The cottage was well laid out, air con was good. The outside roof terrace is an amazing space, good to watch monkeys and squirrels and hear the birds while sitting with morning coffee. Best part of the stay was the helpfulness from Askan who works so hard to fulfil any and every need of the guests. From scooter hire, to boat trips, to clean towels. Also organising a taxi to the airport. He provides the food when requested, breakfast is included in the cost which was freshly cooked every morning. Evening meals were lovely, fish, rice and fruit and not expensive. The location is quiet from traffic noise but is nice to hear the local wildlife. There are push bikes to use for free. Is a 15 minute cycle to the beach with a steady incline on the way back! There are a few little shops close by. The pool area is good for sunbathing but could do with some tlc! Highly recommend for a peaceful break in a quiet village setting.
Negative: Only that the pool could do with some maintenance, as could the cottage veranda as it has slightly rotten wood. Neither things were a problem for us.
Summary: Perfect hosts, great location, good communication with owner. Highly recommended.

Positive: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tanjungtinggi Cottage, and it was a fantastic experience! The cottage is located in a peaceful area, perfect for relaxation and escaping the busy daily life. The rooms are cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. I was impressed by the thoughtful touches and well-equipped facilities, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The real highlight of this place is the exceptional hospitality. Askan, the host, was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to provide helpful recommendations and tips about the local area. Yoyok, the owner, was also very kind and gave us great advice on places to visit in Belitung. Both of them made our stay feel truly special. The cottage offers free bikes for guests, which is a great way to explore the surroundings. It’s also perfect for both solo travelers and families. There is a small pool, which is great for children, and the peaceful setting is ideal for relaxation. Another plus is the convenience of being able to order food to the cottage, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The house keeper also helped us with motorbike rentals and booking tourist boats. There’s free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and warm water in the cottages, which added extra comfort. Overall, I highly recommend Tanjungtinggi Cottage to anyone visiting Belitung. With its great service, peaceful atmosphere, and thoughtful amenities, it’s a perfect place to stay. I’ll definitely return! 10/10!

Positive: This was one of the best holiday that we have ever experienced. The neighbourhood was very friendly. Not to mention there were a lot of greens from the surrounding trees and blue skies everywhere. Very suitable for exercising (we did a lil bit of running and jogging around the area). The location is very strategic. Very close to tanjung tinggi beach and bycycles were provided free of charge by the property. The property facilities were also top notch. They provided free wifi, hot water in the bathroom and spacious swimming pool. The owner was very helpful and accomodating. They were gladly helping us in renting the boat for island hopping and motorbike for travelling. Overall, excellent property and trip. We would definitely recommend to any other tourists.

Positive: A great location in a lovely village, easily walkable to the beaches and a nice restaurant (Selera Kite). Well looked after by Askan, who was very helpful. WiFi in the communal area and rooms - even though the description says there isn't any internet. Very friendly local people, always greeting us with a Hello! and a wave. Convenient car transfer and good value scooter hire.
Negative: Bicycles too small for anyone over about 160cm.

Positive: Very cute cottages in a quiet location, Askan was amazing and so helpful! My stay wouldn’t have been the same without Askan looking after me! In a really nice part of Belitung, you definitely need a motorbike to get around but they provide them for a cheap price per day :) Thank you so much!

Positive: Belitung... a beautiful island that you should definitely visit! A real alternative, not just for Seychelles lovers. The UNESCO Geopark offers travelers endless picturesque landscapes and locations, from lush green natural paradises to breathtaking beaches.  Belitung is not yet really developed for tourism and so a probably quite impersonal stay in one of the few large hotels would not have been an option for us. If you want to get to know the country and its people, the Tanjung Tinggi Cottage is a wonderful place for you! Idyllically located in the village of the same name, you will find the ideal starting point for exploring the island. Even before you arrive, the owners, Yoyo, and Askan, the cottage manager, are available to help and advise you on any questions you may have and you feel like you are coming home to good friends. On site you benefit from their willingness to help through explanations and insider tips about the island, free provision of bicycles, arranging good and cheap scooters, preparing breakfast of your choice and much more. No effort is spared to make guests' stay as pleasant as possible. It's not far to the nearby fantastic beach, Tanjung Tinggi, about 5 minutes by bike or scooter, about 20 minutes on foot. Belitung at Tanjung Tinggi Cottage - highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

Positive: Askan and Juju are great people, they made sure everything was well. The location is of nice half hour walking distance from the Tanjung Tinggi beach. The breakfast was a nice nasi or mie goreng made by the hosts freshly at your own specified time. Also, we got some small foldable bikes that we could use for free to explore around and go visit Balancing Rock, which was great! I would definitely go back there to stay.
Negative: On arrival the room was not yet made or cleaned. However, Juju and Askan both helped out and arranged everything as on the website. Only the pool was not maintained so not in use, but it also was the end of the dry season so very understandable. Great stay nontheless.
Summary: Hosts made the stay great, good location, good price.
