Positive: Everything . The onsen amazing…. A hot rock sauna room plus normal sauna excellent. Infinity outdoor hot onsen views wonderful . Food excellent… suggest a 15 minute delay on starting to allow for the rush! Great views, free drinks, snacks, snow freeze in foyer such a nice touch . We upgraded to a room with a shower but loved the onsen for evenings. Would return and disregard bad reviews…. We kiwis loved it .

Positive: The place feels fresh after recent renovations. We had never experienced an Onsen, and in fact didn’t realise we were booking an all inclusive holiday at an Onsen hotel. But it was a cultural immersion experience like no other. We lived a tiny slice of an integral part of Japanese culture that Westerners don’t usually experience, and we felt both welcomed and privileged. It was brilliant.
Summary: Fantastic all inclusive Onsen hotel where you can forget the rest of the world.
