Summary: It’s amazing to stay in a heritage listed property while the house still meets most of the needs of a family. It’d be better if the host could let us know the actual address earlier as the address on Expedia is not the place we stayed. We got the SMS with the correct address after going to the wrong place. Also it’d be great if fly-screens can be installed to the windows at the kitchen area.

Summary: Lovely setting in the trees, nice to sit out and have a coffee on the verandah in the morning. Was a little out of town so arriving in the dark was not ideal. Very clean and cosy, with comfortable bed. Only downside was the noise from the upstairs guests - footsteps were very loud

Summary: 'Scarlett Robin', TasShack in which we stayed in Bicheno wad in a great position to explore Freycinet and Coles Bay. Bought fabulous local mussels, lit a fire at night as it was chilly and enjoyed a comfortable stay. Well equipped kitchen. Great to have washer and dryer in bathroom.

Summary: Our stay at TasShacks was absolutely perfect. We got upgraded to the Denison Rivulet Retreats as the shack we had booked was unavailable. The location was awesome, not to mention the shack itself, which was almost like brand new, clean and with all the stuff we needed to cook and maintain the place. The staff were very helpful and promptly assisted us when we needed.

Summary: Bicheno is a lovely welcoming community. Proprietor (sorry I've forgotten your name!), was so helpful, map she gave us in our key package for finding this Wombat gem was spot on. It is a little over a kilometre from town, so get your groceries before, then you can start relaxing immediately. Secluded bush spot, "with sea glimpses"?so need to drive to the beach or walk a km. But beautiful. We had the ground floor studio, which was spacious.
