This is a Lockwood house and cabin. The house has been extensively renovated including a new kitchen. It looks out over the Waikato River and its marina.From the deck on the eastern side there are views of river,lake, Mount Tauhara and the
Kaimanawas.
There is river swimming from the river bank(100m) or from the beach at the marina entrance (300m). The property opens onto a grass reserve which runs down to the river. It is a short walk(15 minutes) to Taupo township.
There are two large decks with barbecue.One minute to boat ramp. Plenty of activity to watch and tons of room on the reserve for the kids and the active.
There are 2 bedrooms in the house, 1 queen and one with foldout double

Summary: We had a lovely time at this bach. Great location, so easy to get in and out of town. Has a lovely view, even prettier in real life. We loved the fire place at night and the deck area was lovely for a bbq. Spacious and had everything our group needed. Hosts were easy to get a hold of. Will definitely be back.

Summary: We were so happy with this little place. It was modern, beautifully presented, warm, close to town, quiet and private. The view to the marina is pretty at night and theres a nice big grass area to walk the dog. Our family really loved our stay. The extensive library was welcome on rainy afternoons. Margaret was a great communicator and we would highly recommend this place for families. We hope to come back again. Thanks so much.
