What's your perfect vacation? Fishing, swimming, boating, birding or just relaxing? Enjoy them all with this newly renovated waterfront home on a deep canal just minutes from the Intracoastal Waterway and Estes Flats. Spend your day catching trout and redfish on the fabled Red fish Bay then kick back on the large shaded patio, cooled by the bay breezes. Tejas Tides has an outdoor kitchen, an extra large picnic table and a charcoal grill. The full dock has a fish-cleaning stand and room to tie up your boat. The boat lift is not available for guest use and the homeowner does leave his boat in the lift and his trailer in the driveway. After watching a beautiful sunset, enjoy the show as trout and redfish swim are Managed by Miss Kitty's.und the underwater green light.
The living room has comfortable couches, seating areas including a flat screen TV, and beautiful water views. The kitchen table seats up to four people and the kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher.
Upstairs you can relax in the comfy great room with its charming coastal cottage decor, beautiful full kitchen. A shady back deck, two bedrooms, plus one and one-half bathrooms complete the upstairs accommodations. One bedroom has a king size bed and the second one has a queen size bed. The first bathroom has a vanity for each of the rooms and bathtub. Downstairs is a third large bedroom with another queen size bed. The downstairs bathroom has access from either the bedroom or the patio. High tech amenities include a large high definition television, a Blue-Ray DVD player and high speed wifi. There is parking for 2-3 vehicles. Tejas Tides is a perfect home base to enjoy all that the Rockport area has to offer.
This house is also a short drive away from Rockport Beach and Little Bay. Little Bay is a fascinating birding spot with many protected areas for spotting. Rockport Beach is a fun and affordable way to spend a day relaxing and swimming. Kids will also have a blast at the beach with the multiple themed playgrounds and swing sets. There are picnic tables and grills that you can set up at for the perfect beach experience. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. Also Port Aransas is only about a 20 minute drive away! You can enjoy more fishing, more food, and more beach on the island. Summary: spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated rooms that make you feel right at home. The views of the canal are stunning, and we loved waking up to serene water scenes each morning. One of the highlights was the outdoor space. The deck overlooking the canal was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee or relaxing in the evenings. The hosts were exceptional, too. They were friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond

Summary: We had a wondeful time. The house was clean, had all of the ammenities we needed, and was a good fit for us. Only problem we had was the water lights would not stay on but other than that everything was great. We needed a stopper for the bathtub because we had a 1 year old with us and they brought it to is promptly! We would stay here again

Summary: We have our own boat and came to fish. Parking was great for trailer, fish cleaning station and plenty room to tie up boat. Outdoor space was super ! Shade or Sun you had your choice. Nice restaurant at end of the street was great ! House was nice and clean. We never could get ice maker to work though. Only other negative which to some may not be a big deal but would have been nice to have updated shower head and drain at least . The bathtub has been re painted a few times and drain rusty looking. But overall a nice place !

Summary: Three of us buddies went down to fish and this place was perfect with the areas we fish as in Red Fish Bay, California hole and Hog Island. My two buddies are keeping this in mind for future fishing trips. The place was very clean with easy check in and check out. Would stay there again.
