Summary: You can really tell the difference between an investment property and a VRBO personal vacation getaway. The Coastal Haus was built by the owners and they continue to use the property. The care and attention they give the place (and their renters) was outstanding. They have provided all we could need. Fully stocked kitchen, lots of supplies, laundry pods, and even spices. It felt like staying at a friends house. Their things are here too, but Melissa has clearly labeled what items are 'private'. Great location between Port Aransas and Rockport. This house has plenty of space. Bedrooms upstairs and down meant no one was crowded. Owner communication was great. We were staying over Thanksgiving, so she even offered a roaster for our turkey. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return next year.return next year.

Summary: Great home and worked perfectly for our families. The kitchen was stocked, movies, games, plenty of seating inside and out. We really enjoyed fishing and sitting out together. Our hosts have detailed suggestions on where to go and where to eat, which was quite a help. They thought of everything!

Summary: The inside of this house was amazing. So spacious and adorably decorated. We found ourselves enjoying both the upstairs and downstairs patios the most. Plenty of seating, lovely views and comfortable breezes made it enjoyable all day and night.

Summary: Our stay was FAMILIAL to put in 1 word. The property felt like "home sweet home". It is obvious this property has been given lots of TLC from the live plants, to the plentiful kitchen gadgets to run the kitchen, to the family pictures on the wall. The beds were very comfortable, the sofa was like a cloud to relax on after a day out in the sun. The breeze on the swing overlooking the channel was very relaxing. Neighbors were hardly out when we stayed, so it was very quiet. We did not realize it was a split home; the first floor had 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. This was separate from the upstairs 2 bedrooms that were on same floor as the common areas - kitchen, dining, living. This worked out well for our 2 families that could retreat on their own and also put the younger kids to bed early on a separate floor, distant from the wake and ready to board game rest of the party. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
