Positive: I loved the furnishings and decor, the stunning patio and the location. Although quite a way from the centre of Lisbon, the 15E tram stop is a 2 minute walk from the property; a 2.5 euro, 40 minute ride takes you to Praca da Figueira, right in the heart of Baixa. Alternatively, the train station is 5 minutes walk away and the ride on the Cascais takes 10 minutes to get to Cais do Sodre where there are buses and a metro station. The pay-off is having a peaceful place to come back to with plenty on the doorstep, including a supermarket, restaurants and a lovely cafe (Castilho) serving coffees, pastries and small meals. Mosteiro Jeronimos is 10 minutes away on the tram or a pleasant 30 minute walk. Belem Tower is even closer.

Negative: Nothing, I loved it 🙂

Summary: Great place to unwind after experiencing the sights of central Lisbon.

Positive: It’s a five minute walk to the bus and train station. It also has a large private patio in the back.

Summary: Perfect place to stay if using public transportation.
