Positive: The location is probably the best you can get on the island. It's right where the shark sanctuary is and it is still super close to everything else. Great restaurants around and everything you can wish for. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the rooms are exceptional. I had the best time ever!

Positive: Beautiful garden setting by the sea, Tepanee is an attractive option for those looking for a more peaceful stay near the main beaches. The rooms were lovely (during my five days here, I stayed in both, the standard room and the ocean deluxe - both very nice) and I had a comfortable, happy stay. The views from the oceanside bungalow were especially beautiful, but I could also see the sea from the standard room balcony, which was a nice surprise! Good to get free drinking water refills and to have a kettle in the room. Food at the Italian restaurant was tasty. It was nice to see the reef regeneration project and a few baby blacktip sharks snorkelling off the beach.

Negative: It was disappointing that Tepanee resort couldn’t offer anything at all for breakfast if getting up before 7:30am for diving, even when asked the night before. There were other resorts in the area that gave sandwiches and fruit etc for their guests to take away with them - a similar gesture would have been nice, especially given the higher price range of the establishment. Pillows in my second room were lumpy and bulky - but this got sorted out quickly after I requested replacement.

Positive: The beach was really nice, you can snorkel with black tip sharks, the room was nice and comfortable and the hotel is in a great location.

Negative: The food at the beach-bar and the breakfast weren't good. The gym had rusty equipment.
