Positive: Exquisite hotel - outstanding staff, amazing breakfast, impeccably clean. Extraordinarily helpful in arranging transportation to various sites including Gobeklitepe. So glad we stayed here and can’t recommend it highly enough!

Positive: This is a charming older Hotel with stone walls and decorative façade. I liked it immediately. The bathroom area with shower was modern and comfortable with plenty of hot water. A generous traditional Turkish breakfast was provided every morning and the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. Fati and Hella were both very attentive, and in particular, Hella was worth her weight in gold. She went out of her way to help us find taxis, buses, stores and museums. She was professional but also genuinely kind and made it a pleasure to stay there. When our flight got cancelled she was especially helpful.

Negative: Only that the internet was sometimes spotty. We were here during a snow storm.

Summary: I would not hesitate to stay here again and to recommend Tessera Hotel to my friends.

Negative: NO I WILL ABSOLUTE NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL fOR LONGER STAY than one night. The bathroom smelled. I had the room with the balcony. 1st floor. But unfortunately I have kept the door of the bathroom always closed. The smell of the sewerage was not nice. And I payed 100,- euro per night. Than there was a door for the staff downstairs, delivering supplies direct under my room. The corridor. This door slammed every 5 minutes. So I said something about it. 10 minutes it wend fine and than the door slammed the whole 4 days of my stay. I booked for 4 nights. It was bad weather. 14C instead of the 20C it supposed to be. I asked the reception man / boy for extra blanket. I got it 2 days later. And I got it when I arrived late in my hotel at 22 hr in the evening. So first 2 nights I had it very cold. Than I wanted to book a tour to Nemrut Dagi. A tour what take 3hrs to Nemrut Dagi and 3 hrs back. And I explicite said to the girl of the reception I want to go on Friday. Can you say that to the tour operator. Well what do you think? Tour was booked on Sunday, And Sunday the tour was cancelled because of the minimum amount of people was not reached. So wrong date (Friday) fault of receptionist and tour was not going. But I had to take a personal private taxi. Costs me 120,- euro extra. So if the receptionist had listen carefully he had booked the tour on Friday everything was fine. Furthermore there was a discotheque 50 meters from the hotel playing every evening loud music. The staff don't speak good english. If you ask to many things its bothering the staff members. And sorry to say but I asked regular stuff what is common for hotel guests. Tour for tourists and extra blanket. You run a hotel with good hospitality and dedication or you run a hotel and catch easy money with groups and one/two night stay visitors. I think the last one.

Positive: Everything, the place is beautiful. But the staff was absolutely exceptional, probably the best hotel staff we have ever had. I became ill and not only did the staff walk my wife to the pharmacy to ensure everything was correct they also ordered food for me and delivered it to my room. I have been to 46 countries and thos was by far the best hotel staff I have ever had. The facilities are amazing as well.

Positive: The staff were attentive, professional and warmly characteristic. The hotel itself carries a very warm and comforting feeling. The staff introduced me to Ridvan, owner of Sore Tours, and we at breakfast and went on a tour of ancient sites. He is awesome to have as company amd as a knowledgeable guide, with facts and higher energies too. Ridvans insta - @gobeklitepe.tours

Negative: The poly blankets sparked at night time when touched. All in all I'd definitely stay again if I visited Urfa.

Positive: Charming historic home with central courtyard, rooftop views and well-decorated rooms. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff (aided by Google translate). Quick laundry turn-around. Plenty of hot water with good pressure. Short walk to wonderful central bazaar

Negative: On day when a bus tour was staying and used up all the space, we had to eat breakfast in the (atmospheric) stone cellar with no windows or wifi. Always challenging to fully modernise an historic place, but charging points in the room were hard to access and could not accommodate adapters.
