Positive: A very beautiful hotel with an op inside courtyard. 1001 nights kind of atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Extensive breakfast. Very hospitable reception. They walked with us while manoeuvring in the alleys. Beautiful terraces at the top with a great view of the Mosque and the Castle. tea was served free of charge at every convenient moment.

Negative: Driving to the hotel might be a challenge for large cars or less experienced drivers. Better to avoid this altogether, and park straight in the parking garage. The hotel is 50m from the top of the stairs. The room is very cosy, but not very big or clean.

Positive: We came to Urfa to see and experience true ancient history. That's why we chose the authentic Turkmen Konagi Hotel, converted from a medieval caravanserai. Situated in the heart of the eastern city of Urfa, with its narrow, winding streets, this hotel feels like a scene from "One Thousand and One Nights." Modern comfort, excellent food, warm hospitality, and prompt assistance from the hotel staff and manager Ibrahim rounded out our memorable stay. We are very pleased with our choice and thank the hotel staff.

Positive: What a beautiful establishment in the heart of Şanliurfa, owned and run by generations from one family. The architecture and historical structure was gorgeous, rooftop views amazing and location to markets, restaurants and local sites an easy walk. Rooms were quaint and decor befitting of the age old culture. We were giver super service for a health situation and even though the language barrier was a challenge, we made it work.

Negative: The only disappointment against our expectations was the size of our bathroom, which we know cannot be changed in a building of this age. We did read that they were small and ours certainly was. We however managed as needed. We also had a hire vehicle which required parking. Google information was inaccurate so we found the property location a challenge to find in the end by foot, to find out parking was a distance away. It was not free, however was not expensive either.

Positive: I loved everything about this property. The house itself has a very interesting history, don’t miss the antique pictures hanging in the basement space that show what the area used to look like. I wish I could give 20 stars. The rooms was clean, comfortable, had AC, and basic toiletries. The views from the terraces were amazing. The host was incredibly gracious. The breakfast was amazing and fresh everyday. The coffee!! This property is right in the heart of the historical district. Within walking distance to pool or Abraham, bazaars, archeology museum, and necropolis. There is a car park very close although we found street parking no problem. The host also recommended a nearby Sark Kebab restaurant which had the best adanan kebab we had during our entire trip. I wish we could have stayed here longer. Would recommend!

Negative: It could be cleaner The staff is very friendly but they don’t speak any language exept Turkish,so it makes communication very difficult Breakfast is nice but monotonous and if you are staying for a few days it is a bit of a problem
