5 Bedroom House in Groesbeck

Newly built retreat on the secluded north end of Lake Limestone. Huge great room and kitchen for entertaining the family and a separate kids wing have made our weeks there fantastic. Whether your family enjoys fishing, boat sports or just relaxing on the giant deck or patio this is a great get away.
Lake Limestone is a clean, less traveled Texas lake great for fishing and boating. We do have stumps and you need to know where your going to be safe. Please keep that in mind. The boat and jet skis in the picture are not included in the rental but we have plenty of space for you to tie up your toys on the dock.
We do have 2 paddle boards and a kayak available for you. We also have life jackets for parents and kids-please use them for your safety.
You will want to be prepared to cook all your food on the gas cook top, oven or propane grill. Restaurants are limited in the area. We have plenty of refrigerator and freezer space for the best steaks, burgers and pasta you can cook.
We have opted for a natural grass landscape and hope you like it.
To help with dogs, we have a dog shower in the garage. Our's needs it after a day on the beach before he goes in the house. Our guests have used it frequently as well.

Summary: We were in Texas to celebrate a wedding. We rented the house so we’d have room for extended family to stay with us so we could all visit as we all had to travel from out of state. The set up of this house could not be more perfect for a vacation. There are essentially 2 wings and a primary bedroom. We put adults on 1 side of the house and the young adult nieces/nephews in the “wing” that closed off and had its own living room. The main living room and kitchen is incredibly large and easily fit the 12 of us. The house had everything we could need in the kitchen and we cooked several meals. The beds in all the rooms were very comfy. Just a heads up that one of the bedrooms on the back of the house has no way to block the sun as there are no blinds or curtains that close so you will want to put an early riser in there. The paddle boards and kayak were a nice addition to the rental. The younger members of our group spent several hours on the lake and having fun. If you rent the house print out the picture directions before you head there as you will lose service on your phone before you get there and the pictures are necessary to figure out where to turn. We enjoyed our visit so much we are already planning on trying to get everyone back out there again for another trip.

Summary: Some properties list as sleeping 12 people but they have 3 sets of bunk beds. Not at this property. There is 5 bedrooms with king or queen beds. The bathrooms are not added on like some Arkansas homestead. These are super nice and spacious. The whole house is like new and has up to date appliances. The kitchen is glorious with a 5 burner stove and huge island. The wine cooler was a big hit!! Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable to the max. A cautionary note to would be guests. Don't drive your pickup and boat all the way to the front door. Turn around space is very limited. Plan ahead.

Summary: Our family is growing, children getting married and working in other cities. The Limestone Country House was a great home that allowed each couple to have their own space. We were able to enjoy our time together playing games and taking in the gorgeous sunsets. Everything we needed was there. I would recommend to my friends.

Summary: This was the nicest rental we have ever stayed in! And the cleanest! It was so clean. No clutter! Everything very organized. Communication from Kris was excellent! Our family of 12 had suck a great time. All adults except 4 and the very comfy beds where amazing. Loved that there where 3 kings and 2 queens. Three bathrooms and so much space. And the dog bath was awesome too. Loved everything about it! Plan to return again in the future!

Summary: This property and owners were great and very responsive. Our family had a great 5 days. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and accommodated our group perfectly with plenty of rooms and space for the kids. As expected the water level in the lake is low so we had to launch our boat at the nearby launch ramps, not a big deal but looking forward to when the water levels are back to normal! We were warned about the snakes but didn’t see any on property just a couple on the edges of the water. Overall we had a great time!

Summary: This home is as beautiful as the pictures! We had 12 people with plenty of room for everyone. The late sleepers were on one side of the house and the early risers on the other . The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The large family room/kitchen was a great place for everyone to gather. The house had everything we needed, including little extras like laundry baskets, towels for the lake and a keurig coffee maker! The owners were great communicators and so helpful. We hope to go back again!
