Positive: Location, location, location! Within easy walking distance of both Lion Rock and Pidurangula. Also well situated for arranging a safari. Possible to do Lion Rock in the morning and an elephant safari in the afternoon. Good breakfast, best welcome drink in the country, very friendly and helpful owner. Would definitely stay again.

Negative: Room was a bit small and didn't have any place to place suitcase(s). Also, would have been nice to receive more bottles of water for our second day stay.

Summary: Can't beat the location!

Positive: Close to the main attractions, but for sure the most important thing was the hospitality of the host. He is truly “gold man”. He was extremely helpful in organising and checking the situation and status of everything just after the Ditwah cyclone, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. The food was also delicious!

Summary: Great place, great experience, very, very, very helpful and caring host.

Positive: We stayed one night right after the cyclone and it was one of our highlights in Sri Lanka. We felt immediately at home and welcomed. The owner and the staff tried their best to make our stay pleasant and gave us precious informations about the region. It’s definitely the place to be for an early climb to the Pidurangala Rock (which we highly recommend ;) The after climb breakfast was “La cerise sur le gâteau »

Positive: If felt like home here. We were so warmly welcomed. We tasted the fruit from the garden, got some great and unique curry and tea for the evening. They even took care of our transport back to Negombo and were there whenever you needed it. Be aware that you're in there home.

Negative: We didn't mind, it is a simple room, but you should be aware that you're not in a hotel.
