Summary: Beautiful location and the Hotel was well run with friendly staff and in very good condition clean and large rooms. It was great value for money with a spacious Bar and Dining area with a well kept garden for sitting outside. Station close by and only a short trip to the beautiful Guilford

Summary: Comfortable room cleanliness excellent although we had a chipped bathroom sink the plumbing was noisy . The cooked breakfast was good. The selection of fruit was limited and no brown bread or rolls . We were offered a room change but as we had settled into our room and it was late we decided not to move. I think the room should have been checked prior to our arrival.

Summary: Beautiful is a short word to describe the hotel. We really loved it, a little far from the city (40min by train) but it's totally worth it. In fact, it is the perfect opportunity to get to know the "non-tourist" part of the city. We would definitely return!

Summary: Room was spacious and had all the essentials needed. Especially grateful for the fan this weekend as it’s been warm. Would have liked to have been able to open the windows wider but understand they are restricted for safety reasons. Bed was very comfortable had 2 great nights sleep. Food was lovely, we had breakfast included all very fresh and lovely quality. Prawn risotto was amazing! Hotel is beautiful inside and outside. All members of staff polite and lovely. I would stay again.

Summary: When I arrived there was no-one at the desk but I pressed the bell then had to telephone and a very harrased looking guy came and dealt with me. He took my money and two receptionists arrived and another a girl with my change. The receptionist was very pleasant but I had to say 'I do not have a key yet' as the guy did not give me one.

Summary: Lovely hotel, very quiet, great room for our family of 4. Only negatives would be the limited breakfast choices, especially for the children with the set prices at £15, and we couldn't pick up the wifi connection in our room.
