Positive: It is a unique and beautiful property with history in the area and the staff were friendly and efficient. It was situated in in a quiet area with a great view out the window. The bed was enormous and very comfortable and we were able to access a kitchen for heating food and the use of plates and cutlery. It was quite spacious.

Negative: For the price it was disappointing that the wireless didn’t work, the heating was inadequate and there were lots of stairs to cart luggage up and I wasn’t aware of this when I booked. It seems everything was in a state of repair or maintenance and had I known I wouldn’t have paid $300 for the night

Negative: I didn't realise that the private bathroom was so far away, it was quite a walk down the hall. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Positive: From the warm welcome from Lyn with her subsequent genuinely hospitable attention to the amazing building & surrounds with its history & charm we felt like honouredhouse guests rather than hotel guests An experience not just a stay

Negative: Due to its age & size it takes a while longer for the hot water to come through but be patient it does come
