Positive: Just perfect. Great location, less than 20 minutes walk to the Castle and town centre, but very quiet, with safe parking. This is a beautifully appointed apartment over 3 floors, with everything you could need for a super comfy stay. The kitchen on the ground floor has all new, modern appliances, the bathroom on the top floor is spacious, with a lovely shower and lots of little touches, including a magnifying mirror, which was very useful, the bedroom on the middle floor next to the sitting room was lovely, with a super comfy bed, great linens and a really handy dressing table. Louise and Chris were so friendly and helpful, giving tips on eating out and we felt so welcome. I cannot recommend this lovely apartment highly enough and we will be back soon.

Positive: The location was perfect - near enough to the city centre but in a quiet location. The property was modern and nicely furnished. The bathroom was spacious and airy, the kitchen had everything we needed ; the lounge area was cosy and the bedroom well proportioned. Nice touches were milk and orange juice in the fridge, coffee, tea and biscuits for us on arrival. Louise, the host, was very friendly and welcoming.

Positive: The facilities and accommodation were exceptional at The Annex, Louise was so kind and provided a wonderful welcome. What I loved about The Annex was that you can tell how well it has been looked after by the hosts. No expense spared on the bed and linen for example which was very comfortable. It felt like a home from home setting. Very clean, perfect size, beautifully quiet surroundings but close to the town centre and I loved that it had its own entrance point from the road. We were in Carlisle for a wedding and our friends were very jealous of our accommodation compared to their local hotel stays. Thank you again Louise, and if we are ever in Carlisle again, we most definitely would want to stay again.
