Summary: It is a very old hotel but still has its charm. Location in front of the beach is a big plus, The security at the hotel is good, the food is good. Overall, this old lady is still kicking.

Summary: Old style colonial hotel like going back in time! Very helpful staff. Lovely setting right on the beach in Durban. Some of the fixtures and fittings could do with refreshing or updating - for instance stair carpets very worn. Overall a very good experience though.
