Summary: Please do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on staying in the nicest place in town. If you want to be treated like royalty -with the best food and service anywhere in Scotland- stay here! I cannot rave enough about the spa either. I sincerely felt like I had died and gone to heaven after my massage. The food was so good. Best of all, we were assisted with our luggage getting into the hotel from our rental car and heading out to London via the train station next door.

Summary: Wonderful experience! Absolutely beautiful property with top-not h service and amenities. Their “Teddy Turn- down” for our toddler was a lovely touch. Will be staying at the Balmoral every visit to Edinburgh from now on

Summary: A very warm welcome from the doorman and lady on reception. Check in was quick and we were given a complimentary upgrade. Our room was ready on arrival 4 hours before check in. A welcome gift awaited us. Breakfast is fantastic

Summary: This hotel was wonderful. The staff was excellent, friendly, helpful, and so nice. The hotel and the room are beautiful and in a great central location. They are kid-friendly and have the room prepared for our daughter. She felt like the hotel was all about her with cookies, chocolate milk, a cute owl stuffy and her own bath accessories. Room service was also excellent. This is one of, if not the nicest, hotels we have experienced in all of our travels.
