Positive: Food was outstanding, very interesting play on traditional foods, exciting variations, presentation excellent. Great value for money. Our lakeside lodge had an amazing plunge pool that we were and all the time and a wonderful separate hot tub with geothermal water. The upmarket Jeff's cellar is a stunning cave restuarant but we ate in the main restaurant which was also excellent.
Negative: There is nothing to fault about this place. The upmarket Jeff's Cellar only has a set menu for dinner with paired wine, which it makes it expensive for non drinkers and more options to dine here should be included.
Summary: Excellent, great fun, stunning scenery and location, great food, everyone happy.

Positive: It is a beautiful place surrounded by a lush garden. The place is very peaceful as a retreat should be. The staff is very nice and polite. Our lake villa was specious and very comfortable. The food is very high quality. The fine dining restaurant Jeff's cellar which is located in a cave is amazing and its location unique making it a memorable experience. The tasting menu was a treat to the palate! All in all, a fantastic hotel.
Negative: Nothing about the hotel. It's just that when I asked for a change of dates in booking.com, it was refused by the hotel because it was a cheaper rate. At the end, we agreed to pay the initial rate and not the discounted one. I wouldn't say it is good business practice.

Positive: Great experience of the jungle. Heard many different sounds. Good food
Negative: Staff is good overall, though could be better. We were ignored before check in, and felt sidelined until they are free, when attention should quickly be given. And staff sometimes talk loudly, breaking the serene environment

Negative: Food could be better. They provided GF bread the first day but the second day, they only gave me stale bread at breakfast. Local foods on menu was terrible.

Positive: clean and very relaxing, with special hotspring experience and cave exploring
Negative: during initial arrival from guard house i was asked to go to parking lot, then self carry the lugguage till the front door but no one is there to guide. We have to turn and find the lobby upto reception ourself, which is the only negative impression during this stay. I believe if there is a communication between the guardhouse and the front desk, then it will be better. Otherwise, our stay in banjaran is exceptional with the awesome service. Thank you.
