Positive: We finished our trip to the Andamans with a one night stay at Barefoot. The accommodation was nice as a luxury tent structure and the staff were very friendly and polite. We really enjoyed our time at the beach and the complimentary chai towards sunset. There are quite a few paid activities to do but we only had 1 day and had been diving a lot in the previous days. We chose this place to have a final relaxing day before heading back to Port Blair and Mumbai and it was definitely a nice way to end our trip. The hotel helped us check out quickly and arranged a taxi for us to take to the ferry.
Negative: The food was quite good especially in presentation, but we thought it would be a little better for the price of the accommodation. Bring mosquito spray as it is in the forest!

Positive: Proximity to a gorgeous beach and inside a protected forest.
Negative: Uneven pathways around property requiring me to wear sturdy lace up shoes. This would not be a problem except that you are required to remove your shoes before entering any building. This became tedious. Relatively expensive for rustic accommodations.

Positive: Very good service, Polite staff members. Food was tasty, adjustments were made in food preparations as per our request. Sea food was great. Very clean beach.
Negative: The walk way towards the room can have better lighting during night. Connectivity between the room and reception (intercoms) can be established.

Positive: The property is immersed in nature, expect to see butterfly’s, lizards, all kinds of birds and trees and smell the perfumed jungle flowers. We stayed in a tented cottage which suited our needs very comfortably, ac and bed fabulous. The staff are not overbearing but there if you need them, they are very professional and well trained. All areas very clean and room serviced every day without fail. The restaurant is well managed by Suresh and seeing Vethas smile every morning made my day. Shushmita on the reception took care of our every need. The lifeguards on the beach are very experienced and dedicated to keeping everyone safe but again very discreetly. The location is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the pristine jungle, forest, beach, sea and in a peaceful way. For us we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay Thankyou Barefoot team !
