The over 900 sqft deck will allow plenty of room for entertaining and the 2,800 sqft house will provide everything you and your family should need!
Welcome to The BayAway in Port Orchard! This spacious 4-bedroom home sits perched to overlook Downtown Port Orchard and the waterfront! Wake up and take a short refreshing stroll to Downtown to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from the various coffee shops, or grab a bite for breakfast! This location is prime for exploring in any direction - Quick trip to Seattle, central to all of Kitsap, easy drive to Olympic National Forest, and much more! As you approach the home, you can't miss it with its iconic location and GIANT wrap around deck! This 3-story home features an open concept main floor with a large, updated, and fully stocked kitchen; A large dining room with table prepared to seat 10; 3 full bathrooms that are each equipped with the needed essentials of your stay; and a huge living room with a wrap around sectional, large smart TV, and views overlooking the Port Orchard Bay. The main floor also holds 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom, laundry room, and game cabinet for an abundance of games for any age!
From the main level, you can head up a flight of stairs to find the Primary Suite with gorgeous views of the Bay and Marina. The Primary bedroom holds a King bed and twin trundle bed (two twins) and a full bathroom.
On the bottom level of the home, two additional bedrooms holding queen beds can be found with another full bathroom and a second laundry room.
Outside, take in the stunning views from the oversized wrap around deck! Relax year-round at the beautiful patio table that's under a covered space with a large BBQ, outdoor heater, and a propane firepit!
The house is located just half a mile from downtown Port Orchard where you will find public beach access, a boat launch, dock, waterfront playground, and an assortment of local restaurants and shops! During the Spring & Summer there is a local kayak rental, regular farmer's markets, and great Holiday parades and events! We look forward to hosting you!

No direct neighbors. However, road noise should be considered when booking this location. The house is located on a busy road and road noise is very noticeable when outside.
Directly across the street from the Port Orchard Yacht Club & Marina, 1/2 mile to downtown Port Orchard, 20 minute drive to the Bremerton/Seattle ferry terminal. There are stairs to access the home, please be mindful when booking.
While the location of this property is terrific for access to everything close by, it should also be noted that road noise is very noticeable while on the deck. Only slightly noticeable inside the home.
It should also be noted that this is a 3 story home, climbing multiple sets of stairs is required. Please consider if these items might be bothersome to your group!

Summary: Beautiful location with lots to do, easy access to other ports and Seattle. Depending on what you want to do, you may not need a car. 1 week was not enough. Very spacious and exceptionally clean house with amenities including toiletries, paper products and coffee to name a few, making traveling easier and very much appreciated. A lot of thought and special touches making it comfortable and enjoyable. Great Host!

Summary: The home is beautiful! Lots of room for all of us! The kitchen and dining area are perfect for a large family to gather with patio for days!!!!! Lots of stairs, just be warned! Extra laundry area on floor 1 and 2!. Would recommend a bench to sit on when you put your shoes on at the door! I will love to come back here again with more family! Thank you for a perfect stay!!!!

Summary: We loved this home by the Bay! The sunsets on the water with the mountains in the background were beautiful. This home is a great place for a family of four or more to stay. The bedrooms are spread out around the house and the beds are super comfortable. It’s clean and nicely decorated inside. Communication with the property manager was super easy. We highly recommend this place!

Summary: This property exceed our expectations. Everything from the welcome gift, helpful folder to answer all questions, the well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and linens, and spacious areas to spend time with family and friends. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktails on the deck enjoying the views. We will definitely book again.

Summary: Our stay started with great communication from Melissa, she was welcoming, helpful and accommodating to our requests. Home was well taken care of, furnished and updated. Plenty of space for our family to have room to stretch out, play and relax. Accommodations were comfortable and thought out. The bay away is right next to the road but felt quiet throughout the visit. The weather wasn’t super cooperative but the deck looked wonderful to use. Location was an easy ferry ride in from the city and a short drive away a waterfront shopping area. Enjoyed the waterfront trail for a run. Was a great trip, if we stay in port orchard again this will be at the top of the list!

Summary: Amazing house. Everything that we could possibly need! No surprise charges. It is on a busy road and weekday/work traffic was quite a bit but we chose it knowing this because the location/size/price was absolutely perfect for us!
