Summary: Wonderful! Modern Victorian Inn with 4 floors and an elevator. Lovely old porch with chairs overlooking the ocean. Very pleasant staff.

Summary: The room was quiet and very clean and comfortable. There was no fan in the bathroom which made warm showers fog up the mirror in the bathroom for a longer period of time. The heating/AC unit had a bright blue light that literally lit up the room at night, not healthy for sleeping. The hotel itself was remarkable in that there was an elevator incorporated into this old beachfront house with lots of rooms. There was a good-sized parking lot in the back making it really easy to take bags and belongings into the room. Very precarious exit from the side street onto the main street in front of the hotel. Trying to clear your view of traffic from the left literally puts you in the middle of the street - scary! Very easy travel distance to Kennebunkport. Overall really enjoyed the brief stay and would definitely return.

Summary: The Beach House Inn is a lovely place to stay. Our host Cynthia was extremely friendly and helped us get oriented to the area with a map and suggested spots for shopping and dining. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with quality furnishings, linens and toiletries. They have bikes and beach chairs for their guests and rocking chairs for relaxing on the front porch overlooking the beach across the street. We will stay here again on our journeys up the coast.

Summary: We loved our stay here and will definitely return! It was so clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful with making reservations. Location across from the ocean and close to Kennebunkport was great.

Summary: We stayed at the Beach House for a 3 day weekend in August. Very easy check in. I was concerned that we would not make the 830PM deadline for check in but the manager emailed earlier in the week and alleviated my concerns. Absolutely fabulous location for a number of Maine beaches. We prefer Goose Rocks Beach. The inn has beach towels, beach chairs and even bikes that are easy to grab and go. Also very close to Dock Square in the port. My favorite part was morning coffee on the deck in the morning. I am a coffee snob and generally don't like hotel lobby caffeine beverages. The coffee was fresh and delicious! Tea and hot chocolate are also available. Though I didn't notice this until the last day, there are beverages that you can purchase for happy hour or other times during the day. There is a charming gift shop, which is just as quaint as the inn itself. Our room was clean with plenty of towels (2 pp) and amenities. Slightly crammed but adequate. The AC worked great for a 4th floor room. We did not receive room cleaning one day. We had been at the beach and returned by 2pm and the room was not cleaned yet. At 3:30, the staff came around but it was not convenient. They did swap out the dirty towels. Perhaps having the tag on the door indicate "do not disturb" on one side and "please clean" or something similar on the other side. We will definitely stay again. Very reasonable for a mid-summer quick getaway to the beach!
