Positive: Beautiful peaceful location, property is absolutely stunning - everything is such high quality, very clean, hot tub was lovely and hot on arrival, host was very friendly, sofa was very comfortable. The thought that has gone into this place is evident as soon as you drive in. Property is beautifully presented with everything being high spec. Nothing was too much trouble for this host - he is great.
Negative: Pictures are misleading on listing, it’s 2 different types of properties shown in the pictures merged into one listing, one is a one bed with the apex roof above bed & shower, the other is 2 bed with bath (apex roof) I thought the listing showed pictures of all the options of bedroom & bathroom you might get, assumed there were multiple 1 beds on site some with baths, some showers and was hoping we would be lucky enough to get the bedroom without the apex roof. Communication with host was very confusing & became stressful as the replies were automated and didn’t answer my question, in the end the host called me around an hour before the time we arrived to answer all my questions and put me at ease. We were looking forward to a decent coffee in the morning however the pods provided for the machine were double espresso - once you add milk it was stone cold, could have done with a microwave to heat milk, I found the kettle very difficult to work out, it’s not your standard press a button and it boils, no instructions on how to use anything in the property, hot tub is wood fired so once you’ve used it and it’s gone cold I didn’t know how to refresh the water & reheat - would have preferred a hot tub with jets that stays hot throughout our stay, stairs to bedroom are extremely steep so much so I was worried about sleeping upstairs as I always have to get up to use the toilette during the night - it’s a task getting up and down fully awake and sober so didn’t want to do that sleepy and intoxicated. Takeaways - microwave or something to heat milk is needed, update listing so it’s clear what property you are booking, remove or update automated messages, little sheet with instructions on how to use facilities.

Positive: The house was very tidy and well equipped. Easy to find location and when you sat in the hot tub it was so quiet and peaceful. Lounge was a good size with comfy sofas lovely area to chill and watch a film in the evening. Bathroom was a decent size with everything you need.
Negative: The stairs were very small and no guide rail other than the glass side and the bedroom is low with its sloping ceilings either side of the bed.
Summary: Fantastic stay, Max was very helpful and went beyond with his communication and little touches. A lovely location which
