Summary: The Bissing House was a DELIGHT. I didn't set out looking for a place like this, but feel VERY fortunate that I found it. Warm and inviting, the place is full of charm. Hays, KS is a really lovely city, and this place exemplifies that. Of special note, the breakfast (with a lovely couple that was traveling a similar path as me, Missouri to Colorado) was exceptional. We all talked about what a better experience this was than a hotel -- and more affordable! Thank you, Bissing house! I'll stop again whenever I'm in the area!

Summary: The place to be to catch the spirit of Hays. A surprisingly cool town with a rich history. Management absolutely top-notch, friendly, and proud of their city. Clean, charming accommodations near the old town center.

Summary: The Bissing has character to spare, and is perfectly located to find dining downtown. The rooms and breakfast were top notch. We were crossing the country on a road trip and the Bissing and Hays are absolutely worth planning a stopover around.

Summary: This was a stopover on a longer trip and we wanted to get back on the road so missed eating a nice breakfast. Unfortunately breakfast is served at 8:30 or 10:00 - very vice for a leisurely weekend away.
