This sunny and unique home is in a prime location; close to Merivale Mall, the supermarket, public transport, beautiful Hagley park and gardens and the popular and lively Victoria Street eateries and nightlife.
It is a three bedroom house with two bedrooms and a bathroom in the main house, and the third bedroom and en-suite placed separately from the main house with a deck separating the buildings.
Built post earthquake it utilises eco friendly building prodcuts and a very unique use of space and light.
There is off street parking for two cars and free parking available on the street.
Merivale is a popular upmarket suburb within walking distance of the city centre, Hagley Park, the Canterbury Museum and the Arts Centre. It's a fantastic place to base yourself in a central but relaxed suburb.
Pets are welcome at this property but please notify us at the time of reservation as additional fees will apply.
Our cleaning fees reflect the level of care and detail our housekeeping team provide in our homes. While you may be staying in a regular family home, our intention is to provide hotel-quality comfort for your stay, regardless of the type of property. This requires extensive cleaning after each check-out to ensure every guest is able to experience our properties at their best. Our cleans also include hotel-quality linen on all our beds, bathroom toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner, as well as tea, coffee & hot chocolate for your first couple of days.
For stays exceeding 14 days, a mid-stay clean is required to keep the property at the highest standards. If you would also like a linen change please let us know so we can book this in for the same time. Mid-stay cleans or linen changes for stays less than 14 days are optional. This service can be booked through your personal Guest Boarding Pass.

Summary: Very clean and nicely appointed home in a great area! Loved the style of the home and tons of light throughout. Wish we could have stayed longer to also enjoy the courtyard. Very private!

Summary: We loved staying at this fine home on Office Road. Pre-arrival information was prompt and helpful. There was a useful binder of ideas about various places around the city. We loved the design of the place, the deck, the openness of the inside, along with many other details. The street and the neighbours were quiet, which was so appreciated. The local grocery store is close by. We used Uber a couple of times, including from the airport, but mostly we just walked to the various interesting places around the city. We generally just walked down Papanui / Victoria to Victoria Square park, then along the river to various locations. We loved the Riverside market for eating choices. The home has many bathroom and kitchen items which were appreciated. Thanks, Katie.

Summary: The location was perfect for us - close to grocery shopping and a nice shopping district. It was a nice walk to the downtown art gallery and botanic garden. We loved the design of the house and it had everything we needed for our stay. If our teenage daughter hadn't already flown back to Canada for university, I know she would have loved the studio apartment. Would strongly recommend this rental!

Summary: Great property very near good shopping and Restuarants. ( 5 minute walk) - About a 10 minute drive to central Christchurch and the stunning Botanical Gardens.

Summary: Such a pleasure to be surrounded by art, steps from Merivale Mall. Easy access to arterial roads. Bathroom is shared between two bedrooms, bijou but functional. Shower hot with excellent pressure. Living area large and comfortable. Lovely hand wash provided, plus a few useful items in the pantry. Would stay again. Separate self-contained unit appreciated by teen.
