Summary: The lake was beautiful,the house was spotless and just as shown in the pictures. The host was very accommodating and the snack assortment that was there for us was the perfect touch. We look forward to going back and I will recommend the Blue Heron to everyone I know.

Summary: Such a great cottage! Excellent communication with host who even left water and snacks. Kayaks were available but it was far too windy. The porch is a phenomenal place to relax with a book and there was a selection to choose from! Flyers were available for local restaurants and activities.

Summary: Me and my daughter love being outside and nature, it was her spring break and we wanted to get away. We loved everything about The Blue Heron, so peaceful and everyone we came in contact with so nice. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and just taking everything in, we got to see rabbits, frogs, deer, geese, and everything kind of bird we could name. The Place was perfect. I have to say I have never slept so well away from home! We will definitely be back! Thank you Blue Heron for giving us such an amazing trip, life time memories and your gracious hospitality!

Summary: My sister and I had a mom’s weekend away. The Blue Heron is amazing. It is very clean. Perfectly decorated. It was very relaxing, and the lake is so pretty. The host was wonderful! We will definitely want to stay again!!

Summary: This property was perfect! We have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, and this was one of the best. My husband and I wanted to just get away for a couple of days. He loves to fish and the dock right in front of the house was wonderful. I have never seen a home so well equipped with everything and anything you would need. The snack basket was unbelievable. The living areas were pleasant and even more spacious than the pictures looked. The screened in porch was the best - in the morning and in the evening. The bedroom was roomy and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only bad thing was that we didn't stay long enough! Next time we will. Thank you Gloria!

Summary: This was a great cottage on a lake. We were looking for total relaxation and got just that. We spent most of the time sitting on the huge screened in porch, watching the steam rise off the lake in the mornings, the sunset in the evenings as the sun dropped behind the trees beyond the lake and all of the nature in between. It’s clear why the name of this cabin is Blue Heron. We got to see this bird fishing most of the day. Great accommodations in this newly renovated cabin. Would definitely stay again.
