Lost Creek Retreat - A spacious secluded 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath home in the woods with access to Tims Ford Lake. We have hi speed internet with streaming. We offer the use of our private dock and a place to dock your personal boat on the side, not undercover though. Our cove is a mile long with very calm waters. To get to main lake body, you have to go thru a 9'6" wide causeway. The height is a problem for boats with towers, unless they are retractable. If there are any questions about this, please contact me. The home is a perfect romantic getaway or a great place to gather with friends and family. 20 mi from Shelbyville, Walking Horse Celebration. 3 miles from downtown Lynchburg where so much history is to be explored. Visiting Jack Daniels Distillery is a must. We also have George Dickle and Prichards Distillery close by. Bear Trace Golf Course, Tims Ford State Park is 8 miles away. Since Tims Ford Lake is controlled by TVA, we loose our water around the dock in the wintertime. November to March.
Our basic set rate is set for 2 guest. Anything over 2 guest is $20 a night per person x length of reservation.

Summary: It is a beautiful place in the woods on Tim's Ford Lake. The host is wonderful. We enjoyed the dock, boats, and fishing, and the grandkids loved the water slide and water toys! It's a great place to enjoy a relaxing weekend! I recommend it for any time of the year! We couldn't ask for more pleasant hosts who really work to make the stay enjoyable!

Summary: We were a bit upset at first due to being under the impression from the photos that the water, boat slip, outdoor porch, ect was just across the street. Once we got over the initial upset if that, and Ginger gave us a tour of the property and amenities, it ended up being a great stay! Ginger let us use her kayaks, paddle boards, lili pad, and even her billiards room! There are plenty of kayaks for a large family, with life jackets as well. She made us feel very comfortable, and right at home! The house was very clean, and had plenty of room for our large group. The hot tub was great, and the outside grill was a plus too!

Summary: My husband and I first stayed at Ginger's place 10 years ago and recently decided to extend our visit in the area by booking a few more days before heading back home. Ginger is, without a doubt, the best host we've ever rented from. She is incredibly hospitable and kind. Our 9-year-old absolutely loved the slide on the dock into the lake, and we had the delightful company of Daisy, the dog, who swam alongside us as we kayaked. It was such a joy, and we can't wait to return. Thank you so much for hosting us, Ginger!
