Beautiful and quaint Boathouse ideally situated on the Flint River, connected to Lake Seminole! Bring your family and your boat for an amazing weekend getaway. Perfect accommodations for boating, fishing, hunting, pontoon cruising, sunrise/sunset viewing, or all of the above. The Flint River is specifically known for long winding stretches making it an ideal location for the watersports enthusiast, while Lake Seminole is recognized as one of the premier bass fishing locations in America.

The "Boathouse" is located at the Bainbridge Marina and Scooter's RV Park off HWY 253 in Bainbridge, GA. The marina is directly across from the Earl May Boat Basin which has 7 public boat ramps, and a large outdoor amphitheater. Summary: This is the second time we’ve stayed at the boathouse and we have really enjoyed both times. The best part is the screened in back porch with a beautiful view of sunrises, perfect for enjoying coffee first thing in the morning. Only complaint we have is the TVs. The living room tv was difficult to operate and we couldn’t get the bedroom tv to work at all.

Summary: We needed a place to stay for a family reunion and just happened to find this Gem right around the corner from our event. I like the peace and quiet, the water view, and the owner was VERY responsive to our inquiries. We will visit again soon!

Summary: Property and marina are unique and very peaceful. That house was sufficient and had everything we needed for 2 nights. Check in was simple and host was quick to respond when we reached out prior to arrival.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay. Super quiet and peaceful. Barely saw anyone else all weekend. Didn’t eat at restaurant but a resident said it was excellent. We utilized the full kitchen to cook our meals. Our son fished all weekend. He did catch one bass but only nibbles the rest of the time.

Summary: Stayed here with some friends for the river town days festival. It was perfect-had all the amenities we needed. We loved sitting on the screened in back pouch and watching the geese. The check in was flawless and the owner was super nice and helpful with any questions we had. This was a great stay!
