Summary: Hotel was nice , was a little disappointed no pool. The beds were hard as a rock and sleeping was the most uncomfortable we’ve ever had staying somewhere. We also asked for towels to be brought up the night of our stay and never received them. Otherwise it was a nice hotel- I thought it would be a little more upscale for the pricing in the area but it was about the same or more run down than a holiday inn in my opinion. We will probably just stay out of town a few miles to get something better next time especially for the price. Staff was very kind, people to note were Angela and Peggy. Everyone we did talk to was very hospitable.

Summary: Great location if you have small children- able to walk to the beach/splash pad. Its only 10-12 min walk, however, there are quite a few stairs to go down/up. Free parking next to hotel and lots of shops/farmers market on weekend. The only downside was the pillows, not the most comfortable.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the boulevard. The restaurant was excellent, but I did not think the ambiance was equal to the food. Loved the fresh baked cookies at the front desk. Parking was a bit weird.

Summary: When we chose to stay at the Boulevard Inn we realized it was a fairly expensive place to stay but decided to splurge anyhow. Much to our chagrin we found our stay not the positive experience we were expecting. First we pulled up to the Hotel on the Lakeshore Blvd entrance and thought this was the main entrance to the Hotel, After carrying our two bags up two flights of stairs we discovered once we reached the lobby that the main entrance was on the back side of the Hotel where and entrance ramp was located to pull up "wheelie luggage bags" There was no sign on the Lakeshore Blvd entrance indication that the check in entrance was on the back side of the Hotel. I should add that the temperature at the time was in the mid 90's and had been at that temperature all day. When we checked in we found out that the well known Bistro restaurant was closed the day we checked in so no special dinner was to be had that evening. We found a nice restaurant a block away but that mean walking out in the oppressive heat. When we checked in my husband decided to take a shower before dinner and discovered that once in the shower the tub drain was clogged and he took a shower in ankle deep water by the time he was done. As we were leaving for dinner we notified the front desk of the shower problem and they assured us they would send someone up to deal with the shower drain problem. The following morning when my husband took a shower it was again in ankle deep water. Nothing had been done.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at The Boulevard Inn in St. Joseph while exhibiting at the Krasl Art Fair. The location couldn’t have been better—it was practically right in front of our booth, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel provided a discount for the restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely accommodating, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

Summary: Perfect location! Entire staff always went above and beyond. Our third stay with them and we are planning our next return trip. The new daily breakfast was perfect.

Summary: This hotel and restaurant are gems. The only downside is that there is no designated hotel parking and with many beachgoers on the weekend, it was difficult to find a close parking space.

Summary: Peggy was there to greet us at the hotel desk. Very polite, got us into a room even though none were available. Even got two cookies to start our vacation! There’s parking all around the hotel, it was always full, but we managed to find a spot. You can always look around the back of the hotel sometimes there’s some there. For the room, water temperature, and pressure were great! Air conditioning was quiet and kept the room a constant temperature. A few issues for our room 209. The door required “Man Strength“ to open. It would open but then stick severely. Closing was the same issue. If you like a room with complete darkness, this got close. Problem is this blinking lights from the smoke detectors. Doesn’t bother everyone but for me, I don’t like it. Restaurant food was good. Wish I’d seen the coupon. Offer on the room key. The lady that sat us was not very helpful. We wanted to go out and sit 30 minutes before closing out on the balcony, but they said we had to buy more food to sit out there for my wife to take her wine. They weren’t seating anyone else and they were empty tables. The bartender said we could, but the lady at the front would not let us go. Breakfast was a little weird. There were nuggets and a rolled pancake in the warmers. When they ran out they brought scrambled eggs and hash browns. Around the area you can easily walk to shopping or the beach. I recommend driving to the beach if you are carrying anything. It’s $15 Per day to enter with a car.

Summary: Our check in was frustrating. The woman at the desk said our room would be ready soon. We waited. When it was ready I verified we ordered two queen beds. Then she realized she had pulled up the wrong reservation, which was a king. I gave her my name so not sure why she pulled up the wrong one. Then she said our room was not ready. So we went for lunch and when we came back at 3pm it still was not ready. We waited for a bit and finally it was ready. No healthy snacks of any kind to buy at the hotel. All chips, etc. When we were going to check out the front desk said there were no luggage carts available but they would let us know when one opened up. We didn’t hear from them so my husband went down and found one. No call to us.
