Positive: We have read the reviews from before, so we were really doubtful about this one. But it seems, they have finally listened to their guests. They were kind and hospitable, we received tea and coffee when we arrived. The room and the bed were very spacious and overall pretty clean. Price/performance vise it was very good. The pool looked clean and the views are amazing.

Negative: The place really really needs a renovation. We didnt mind but it really feels like no one is putting any money or too much effort into it.

Positive: Wow what a stunning location with amazing views. And such good value for money, our rooms were huge. We saw so many different birds and loads of monkeys. The monkeys came right up to room windows, the kids loved it. Also saw giant squirrels all whilst sitting outside our bedroom. The pool was huge and very refreshing. There is also a little play area. The staff were so warm and friendly and helped with everything. At night it was dark with just sounds of animals and nearby waterfall, so peaceful. We wished we could have stayed longer. We drove ourselves there in our tuk tuks and the drive was nice too. The hotel has parking and only a short drive to Kandy.

Positive: Nature Resort Layathraa offers a beautiful and serene setting, perfect for getting away from the city. The mountain and garden views from the resort are truly magnificent, and the overall ambiance is very relaxing. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The pool was a nice feature and provided a great place to relax.
