This luxurious 7000 sq ft country estate on 35 private picturesque acres has been tastefully arranged into three separate rental units, each with it’s own private entrance and no shared indoor spaces. Bring the whole family and enjoy The Bunkhouse with it’s full kitchen, formal dining, large family room, and 3 bedrooms, each with full bath en suite. Three porches (2 private, one partially shared) allow indoor/outdoor living to take in the beauty and serenity of this special location.
Estate at Williamston is a large, private 7000 SQ foot country estate that has been separated into three individual units: "The Bunkhouse", "The Luxury Escape", and "The Peaceful Retreat". They are each separate units under the same roof (could be considered similar to a townhouse) with their own exterior entrance and there is no shared inside space, but if adjThe acent units are both rented, the connecting doors can be unlocked from both sides simultaneously to connect the units. As there may be another guest in the adjacent unit, we do ask all our guests to observe quiet time between 10pm and 8am to respect the other guests.
The Bunkhouse is the middle unit, so it can be combined with either or both of the other two. The peaceful retreat is a single floor and the other two are each two story, which, also similar to a townhouse, the floor above and below will all be the same unit (i.e. your ceiling won't be immediately below someone else's floor.)
To rent more than one unit together, guests can simply make both or all three reservations in the usual manner. We had previously offered a single rate for the entire property, but it was higher than the combined price of the three units, so now we simply offer the ability to rent all three individually if they are available on your desired dates.

Summary: Great Country getaway that offers room for an extremely large group of all 3 spaces are leased. The Bunk House offered enough room 7+ to sleep comfortably, all bedrooms on the second floor. The main floor includes a large dining room, full kitchen, TV room, bathroom, and a laundry room. All spaces have great views out to the country scenery that includes corn fields, forest, and a pond that is stocked for fun fishing.

Summary: Beautiful property. Sits off the road in a wooded area with a pond. Very quiet and peaceful. Inside of the house is really nice. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Summary: This was perfect place to gather our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the back porch with the view of the pond and wildlife including deer, turkeys, turtles, cranes, geese, ducks, raccoons and we could hear so many birds including peacocks. The children chairs, tables, books and toys were an appreciated touch. I would rent again given the opportunity.

Summary: Great for large groups. It is truly a beautiful property. Weddings would be gorgeous here. AC was a bit of a challenge and we definitely slept very hot, however, we did not reach out to address.

Summary: This very nice place fit our needs just fine except that we were without a refrigerator for 20+ hours when we first arrived. Thanks for getting us in a substitute refrigerator into the front hall. The lock on the dirty front door is also not working reliably. The description on the Vrbo listing is rather confusing. Lovely location!

Summary: Saw so many wild animals I'm not sure I'll remember them all! Deer, cranes, racoons, baby racoons, badgers, bunnies, chipmunks , butterflies galore and even a hummingbird! All in all just a magnificent all around experience! Off the charts charm to spare! We will definitely stay anytime we visit town!

Summary: We arrived at night and had some trouble finding the house. Our phone navigation apps didn't get us the last mile (which the owner disclosed that GPS probably wouldn't), but the property isn't well marked from the road and is some distance off the road. Once we arrived at the house it was impressive from the outside. There is a pond and it is surrounded by trees. It really was a lovely setting. We saw wildlife every day. My teenagers enjoyed walking our dogs around the pond to see what wildlife they could discover. There were a few things we expected to find in the kitchen that were not there, such as wine glasses, can opener, lighter, hot pads, mixer, kitchen towels (there was only one). Otherwise, it was sufficiently stocked. On the first night I showered late and was surprised when the water shut off when I was mid shower. I contacted the owner and she explained that the water softener cycles late at night and draws a significant amount of water. After knowing that little tidbit, we didn't have any other water issues. You can not change the thermometer and we found the house to be uncomfortably warm. We cracked windows to control the temperature, but it would have been preferable to be able to control the temperature.
