Summary: The property was on beautifully secluded land and was a great place to explore Lockhart and New Braunfels. I booked this trip ahead of Beryl turning towards Galveston Island (where I live). It was a very fortuitous escape, especially because my neighborhood was without power for over one week. Great cabin!

Summary: We took a long weekend in Lockhart so my 15YO son could sample the BBQ joints (he's doing competitive HS BBQ.) We found this cabin on VRBO and it was perfect for us! Quiet, out of the way, and all our own. We enjoyed the trail through the woods, sunrise on the deck, and the sounds of horses and cows while we wandered around the grounds. The outdoor shower was a huge hit as well. It's only about 10 minutes from town, and maybe 30 minutes to the Long Time in Austin (where we had a baseball game on Saturday afternoon.) Look forward to a future stay when we come back for a game at the Wishing Well. It feels a little bit like Glamping to stay here and we love it!
