Super cozy cabin located on our private property. Enjoy the private pergola patio! Dine outside after preparing your meals on the Blackstone griddle grill, enjoy sitting on the rockers while watching the deer cross the lower field, swing in the hammocks AND relax in the hot tub under the starry sky! This cabin has all the amenities of home in approximately 400 sf with an amazing amount of storage. It has a full bath and kitchen. The sofa folds out to a queen size sleeper with two toppers for extra comfort. There are bedding options for additional quests (max 2) that can sleep on the platform bed(s) The space is totally adequate for 2 but could fit 4. We have either a twin, full or queen option for you to choose from. During the day, visit the local attractions and come back to The Cabin to chill in the evenings! Located on a quiet county road, this cabin has farmhouse charm. Rock into tranquil comfort on the front porch. On cool nights snuggle up by the gas firepit table out back. The property is just minutes from Hanging Rock State Park. There you can hike, fish, mountain bike, kayak or canoe the day away. You could also tour the Yadkin Valley wineries for a fun day trip. Well within an hour you could be in Mayberry, the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Old Salem or Pilot Mountain. The backyard is spacious for playing yard golf, darts, disk golf or corn hole. If you bring your bike or kayak, you can store it in the barn. But the real charm of this place is the quiet retreat of a place to rest at the end of fun packed day.
EV Charger Note -There is a dedicated 50 amp plug for your vehicle. You can charge your car if you have a 4-prong cord to plug in. It works great for a Tesla! This is the only vehicle this has been tested with thus far. Please send me a message for more details!

Summary: We were looking for a perfect place for a weekend getaway and did we ever find it. As soon as we walked in we were absolutely blown away by how cozy and cute the cabin was. The owner Katie is super friendly and she made check in and check out so easy. We highly recommend staying here and hope to do so ourselves again very soon.

Summary: The Cabin was an amazing break from being at home. Walking in for the first time, Christmas music was playing and lamps were lit, Christmas decorations inside and out. All of this added to the cozy atmosphere. Katie is an experienced and gracious host, you almost feel like you are staying at a friends or relatives cabin instead of a rental. The amenities were great, naps taken in the hammock, breakfast cooked on the blackstone grill, sitting by the fire at night. The hot tube was huge but we did not get to enjoy it this time due to my recovery from a recent surgery. When we come back we will definitely spend time in it soaking. I would give it more than five starts if I could. Beautiful property to enjoy, relax, and renew yourself. Katie was also very sweet with our pug, she is an animal lover herself. Thank you and we will be back!

Summary: My husband and I of 20+ years were looking for a weekend getaway, to escape the business of work and a house of teenagers, and we found it here. Katie, the host, was extremely kind and hospitable. The cabin is warm, cozy, and very well stocked. The hot tub is great, especially after a long day of hiking at the nearby Hanging Rock State Park. If you come, partake of John Browns local store for snacks and take out. Great place! Overall, loved it. Would highly recommend to any couple looking to getaway for a few days.

Summary: We went hiking to see the waterfalls at Hanging Rock before we arrived on Friday and enjoyed relaxing our tired muscles in the hot tub every chance we got. Loved the winery in Pilot mountain and enjoyed some pizza from Little Italy in King. The rain didn't stop us from enjoying the hot tub and solitude of the cabin. Katie was very helpful each day making sure we were enjoying our stay. We cleaned up before we left as we like to do. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us!! We will return !
